Ozen Sushi — Restaurant in Norwalk

This place is a hidden gem in the city of Norwalk Ca. The food was delicious and the sushi fresh. The all you can eat sushi prices are a bit steep, but if you can make it worth while go for it. We had salmon and tuna sashimi, delicious and portions were generous. We also had the spicy tuna tempura roll, it was awesome. Another roll called the ohi honey (or something like that) it was awesome also. The only disappointing roll was the baked crawfish roll, it honestly seemed reheated or something. The rice was kinda hard, like it was old, and the crawfish didnt taste fresh, we didnt finish it. Sad because ive had this roll in other places and been quite happy. Kids had bolgogi bowls those were good.

The service was awesome and friendly. The place is small so i imagine it could get noisy when its full. But we had a very pleasant dining experience. Parking is going to be tricky also its in a cramped food plaza.

Would i recommend-YES!

Yeah, don't eat here. First of all the sushi is at room temp, meaning they premake the rolls who knows when and set them aside to be taken to tables. Gross! Second, the waitresses are very pushy and rush you to order. One waitress said "can I recommend you some favorites?" I blindly said sure. She stars which ones she thinks are great on the sushi chart for all you can eat and leaves. I looked at them on on the menu and didn't think they sounded so good so I order four rolls of non recommend sushi. I received 10 rolls. Does this add up to you? Four does not equal 10!! I wanted to try OTHER things not whatever she told me to order. I tried telling the waitress that I didn't order some of these and she plays dumb, like bro. I wasn't born today. I'm not in kindergarten and don't know how to count. The sushi was terrible and made me sick later. So yeah,...

Been here several time actually recommended people but today was Horrible and this is the 2nd time it was horrible my baked scallops the rice was burnt on top and my rolls where crispy burnt.. the littllittle far smart Ass Asian chick was asking why I did not want them and was thinking about charging me so I explained to her that I would not be charged for something I could not eat and she told me that it is called baked scallops and my response was baked not Burnt scallops my friend also got really bad mushrooms she ate one and had a comment so I ate one and liberally spot the good out it was brother and burnt I have never experienced this in the p.m just the afternoon hours.. but somehow they think they sell so much food that they cannot make mistakes and that their cook know best not the customer that is paying for the meal and...
