The Bucket Crabs and Crawfish — Restaurant in Norwalk

This is my to go place I’ve been coming here for like 4 years now, and I usually leave a tip cash or card but today they went over board the waiter Lyn or Lin, asked me for a tip when I was paying and said are you leaving tip how much and is it cash or card I’m like I’ll see.( I was going to leave her a $5 tip) I paid and left and she comes out running out to my vehicle to ask why didn’t I leave her a tip, I said since when do we have to tip it’s not mandatory if you would of never asked how much or if I was going to tip you I would’ve tipped you, she said well next time don’t dine in if your not going to tip you should take out next time. Keep in mind it was only me and my daughter my bill was $64 and she only refilled my drink once. This will be my last time going there. Nobody or no one should ever make you feel entitled to tip someone especially if they’re asking for it and their service...

The Bucket Crab & Crawfish is in a league of it's own when it comes to it's sauces it has to offer whether it's for your shrimp, crawfish, king crab, clams, or dungeness crab. I've tried many other local spots, but by far this place takes 1st place when it comes to the freshness and sauces it has to offer for your meals. I've been coming here for some time and not once have I've been disappointed with the service or the food I've received. My favorite is 1lb shrimp, 1lb crawfish, snow crab, 2-piece corn, 6-piece sausage all in the same bag with the wonderful flavor of (The Bucket Medely/mild). The staff is wonderful and provide great service to their customers. If your looking for a great spot to have some good seafood, this place is a must try. Our first time at The Bucket and we LOVED it. The place was recommended to us by a friend. Good atmosphere, family friendly, great service, wonderful yummy food! We ordered whole shrimp, fried shrimp n' chips, lobster tails, and a Dungeness crab. They provide you with lobster bibs (my 2 boys had lots of fun wearing them), a table cover you can eat off of, and free ice cream after your meal! As mentioned before, our server (wish I would've gotten his name) was friendly and attentive. The food, is served in bags with your choice of flavored sauce and spiciness.
