D'Elia's Bakery & Grinder Shop — Restaurant in Norwich

Absolutely THE BEST!!!! I have eaten there in the past & everytime I get grinders there it's like the first time I discovered a good place to eat. Mind you when I eat there I always have to order 2 grinders for myself because there just to good to chose just 1. If I could afford it I would order all of them just because they are all the best grinders I have ever had in my life. Lol I have been eating there for over 10 years just not as often as I would like. I can't stop saying omg omg omg omg so so good. The bread is the softest bread any place that makes grinders has... He bakes it out back I believe . This family should be regonized all over the U.S if they haven't already. If you have not stopped by there. You will not regret it! My taste buds are still dancing. They have been around for a long time and still make good business, from what my husband told me as he would go there when he was younger..

I have been eating there as well for years now, and i don't usually like grinders much.. But, Delia's Bakery/Grinder Shop makes great grinders & have other great things to eat there as well..

They accept EBT cards & decorate every Holiday which is cool. =)

Anthony and his wife are very nice people, who treat every costumer with respect.. The only thing is, the older woman there has been rude for years & would act like she didn't wanna work there anymore..

I will gladly take her job!!! XD lol ...But, for now it seems her attitude has gotten better.. Maybe she finally had complaints or finally found a partner in her life?! IDK lol

BUT IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD IN NORWICH CT, THIS IS TOTALLY ONE OF THE PLACES YOU SHOULD CONSIDER AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT EITHER..GOD BLESS ALL & PLEASE GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE...

Moved to Norwich a year ago. My son and I when I first moved here, went here for grinders, had a good experience. I remember, the female worker, I believe the wife was very friendly, engaging. Had a couple good grinders with my son. Fast forward a year later. Recently went in, bought a whole roast beef, half capicola. First thing I noticed, the wife, took my order again, this time, said very little, didn't even smile. Maybe having a bad day. Capicola, I've never had a capicola in which the meat was literally all white with some red flecks throughout. Didn't taste bad but odd. Very little meat, lots of lettuce, toms. A friend of mine whose from the area, told me about it's history but then added, they don't put much meat in there grinders which is unfortunately true. I...
