So our experience at this place was downhill from the moment we walked in our host /server Caesar was over the chart rude from the beginning with the eye rolling the minute we walked in !!!!! It was 5 min to 8 October 29 he took us to our table and when he sat us and we ordered drinks he genuinely seemed uninterested to be there let alone to be a server , once we ordered appetizers he brought our small plates and slammed them on the table and walked away my sisters boyfriend ordered wine and the wine was setting at the bar for 10 minute and when we brought that to his attention he completely ignored it and pretended he didn’t hear us …with all this bad hospitality we gave him benefits of doubt and we said he might be tired or having a bad day and we didn’t react to any of his bad behaviors … now the hair that broke the camel back was when we asked for the check and he brought it the machine back to us with the 22% tip was already selected and we know that this selection has to be made by the customer choice not the server …. We gave him 25 % because we wanna show him that it’s our choice to rise above his nastiness and that it’s up to us to decide what we want or not … I think he thought he deserve nothing because he know he was bad and that’s why he choose the 22 percent but we didn’t let this affect our generosity we won’t be coming back food was aweful , service was so bad And I just wanna point out the food runner and the busser was awesome but please if the manger read this set that guy down tell him it’s customer service you need to be nice and gently we are all energy and we can tell he didn’t want...
Read moreAs a local guide who frequently explores new food and drink spots, I stopped by this restaurant for a quick drink—but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. From the moment I walked in, the energy from the staff felt disengaged and unwelcoming.
My server didn’t introduce himself or create any rapport, which is a basic courtesy in hospitality. Instead, the focus seemed solely on checking my ID (starring at it for almost 5 minutes lol) rather than acknowledging me as a guest ready to order. While I understand the importance of ID verification, it shouldn’t come at the expense of a warm, professional introduction.
I had one beer and left shortly after. The vibe lacked hospitality and balance, and I couldn’t help but notice that male servers were more polite and friendly toward female guests. If the staff dynamic stays the same, I’d suggest either incorporating more diverse servers or ensuring all team members consistently provide courteous service to every guest, regardless of gender.
I truly hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience—because with the right energy and service, this spot...
Read moreThis Boca Pizzeria location is in desperate need of a chef. The garlic vinaigrette for the grilled octopus was bland and may have been substituted with another sauce. It did not taste like garlic vinegar and had a bitter taste. Also, the pizza was served without the main toppings and was taken back to the kitchen. The pizza was given back in less than five minutes with the prosciutto that tasted as if it had been frozen and thawed in a microwave or under hot water. It was apparent the chef did not know what he was doing because four large slices of prosciutto were placed on the pizza and then thrown into the oven. Finally, all four pizzas in the group were heavily burned on the bottom, and the server was slow to refill drinks in an empty restaurant. It would make sense that my pizza would be burnt and not the other party members. I do not recommend this location and suggest driving to the Corte...
