Bought a large Chicken Teriyaki sub for $14.50. Felt very light so I opened it up - there’s barely any meat - it’s 90% bread - for $14.50!!! Lol So I ask the cook nicely, is this right? He says “yeah, the price of everything has gone up…” I say “wow, I can get 3 rotisserie chickens at the grocery store for $15”… he says “we’ll, then I suggest you do that…” so I didn’t make a huge deal out of it but told the manager, “hey, I don’t think your staff should be having attitude with the customers … not good for business”. On the door there’s a big sign that says “be kind to our staff because it’s hard to get them and they work hard… on and on“ and that’s cool but I’ve never seen a store have a sign like that. Perhaps it’s an indicator something is wrong with this store. The original managers/owners Robbie apparently aren’t there anymore and who knows what’s going on there. I used to go in this store daily and it’s completely changed. Will NEVER go here again! Can’t believe people are paying $15 for $1 worth of meat and $1 worth of carb laden bread. Lol… They look like they are going out...
Read moreYikes. I’ve been to Penn Station ECS (not this one) before and really enjoyed it. However, I went there for lunch today and had a very weird experience. The guy who took my order (chubby, tattoos, scraggly beard, and dirty looking), I’m assuming he was the manager, just stared straight ahead as I was relating what I wanted. There were several long pauses where I was about to ask him if he heard me or if he was ok. As I went down to the other end to pay (along with four other customers) he proceeded to shamble down and help make sandwiches. As he’s doing this, he starts repeating the word “HPV” numerous times like it was a joke. I had to google it on my phone to ensure it meant what I thought. Then a short while later he started talking about $hit stains. The employee next to him looked at him like he was crazy. Then he told a customer how slow his employees were. We can clearly hear him. I could go on. Got a very bad vibe. Dude was weird AF. I won’t be...
Read moreFirst off, I have never been here, we came here after the original restaurant we were going to was closed. It was not our intention to come in. We got there around 7:50, the door says they close at 9 and so does apple maps. As someone that works in a restaurant and customer service, no matter how late a customer may come in, you treat them with as much respect as any other customer and make their experience the best as possible. As soon as we walked in, we were rudely greeted by Nevaeh. She asked our order and we said we had never been there hence the confusion. She said something along the lines of “great what do you want?”. We gave our orders and she continued to be short with us the entire time. No matter how the food may be, I will never go back. The rest of the staff was great, but Nevaeh just lost this restaurant 4 customers. First and...
