For J's Hawaii Inc. — Restaurant in Oʻahu

For J's Hawaii, Inc. is my go-to for specialty flavored salt for over 2 decades! I discovered their goodness back in the early 2000's when they were a vendor at a pop-up craft fair at Ben Parker Elementary School in Kaneohe. I sampled multiple flavors of the salts at the fair and couldn't walk away without taking some home. Ever since then, I've searched Islandwide for their products. The Garlic Sea Salt is my absolute FAVORITE! It is so versitile and can be used in almost any local dish. I'm grateful that Janice has shared her recipes online -- the soybeans are a family favorite during gatherings and just for snack at home. My children LOVE when I use the garlic sea salt in pork roast too. (You can definately taste the difference with For J's salt versus generic mass-produced salts). I've tried to use other brands and my dishes don't come out the same. If you're looking for authentic local-style flavors, made in Hawaii with Aloha, this is the winnah!! Try it yourself... This is such an awesome little business! I got a HUGE bottle of essential liquid smoke for my kalua pork, and this beautifully packaged lilikoi sugar, which i can't wait to try! And hawaiian red alaea salt. The shipping said it would be more than 3 weeks! So I emailed to inquire, and within minutes I got a personal call and message from the owner. Its rare now days to find such a customer oriented business. It turned out the tracking was wrong and I recieved my order within the week. The owner tracked it all the way and kept me informed. Im excited to try more things from this little family run business. A taste of my home. There's just nothing better! 🥰...

So happy to have come across For J’s Hawaii! They have awesome products and one of my favorites is their dressing (I call it “green dressing”). If you haven’t tried it before, you’re missing out! I not only love it on my salad but also love dipping some sliced cucumbers in it (try it!). Many ways to incorporate it into your food.
