Fratelli Express — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Far exceeded expectations. That is not to say I wasn't expecting much but more about how good the food was. I had the Chicken Fratelli. It takes a skilled chef to nicely sear mushrooms but still leave them firm and flavorful with a nice bite to them. My wife had the Linguini and Meatballs. Tender and full of flavor, my wife's comment was "you know the sauce is good when you want to eat it like a soup!". The salad was also quite delicious. They make a house dressing that is phenomenal, highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back, there's lots more on the menu I want to try.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 is because everything is served in takeout containers but, it is a Bistro and it certainly did not take anything away from the taste.

I’ve gotten take out for my family of 4 here several times already! The food is delicious! It used to be a Korean restaurant that I also ordered from, but I was happy to find out there’s a quick Italian place in Waipahu I can get food for my family now. It is located next door to Nanding’s bakery with the Spanish rolls.

Anything with steak is so good here or as we say “Ono” or “broke da mout” :o) I list all the dishes I’ve ordered & will order again. I say just choose anything on the menu you might want & i can almost guarantee it will be good!

First time trying Fratellis and I will absolutely be back. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich and it did not disappoint. It’s not a huge sandwich, but all of the ingredients are fresh and house made. You can taste that the chicken is real breaded and fried chicken, not a frozen patty. The sauce tastes like it was made with fresh herbs and had small pieces of mozzarella incorporated into the sauce. The owner came and sat and talked with me while I waited for my food and he is a genuinely good dude. They even threw in a house made spring roll to try, which was very good as well!!
