Hubs and I were starving (ok I was) after visiting a doggie boarding place in Kunia and decided to grab lunch somewhere - found this place thanks to Yelp!

It’s located in the same shopping center as Pacific Supermarket, which gets busy on the weekends so you’ll probably end up parking in the lower lot but at least there’s parking!

It was peak lunch time so there weren’t any tables availability but the entire counter was free so we got our pick of seats. Before we even ordered, a table freed up so we thankfully avoided staring at a wall of black marble for our entire meal. It was pretty marble, don’t get me wrong, but wouldn’t have made for a great dining experience with the hubs.

The servers were quick and efficient - had to be in that busy restaurant - and we soon got our Oxtail Soup (mine) and Steak and Meatball Pho (hubs). We probably didn’t need the order of fried spring rolls but we were starving - wished they came first to take off the edge but they came shortly after our meals arrived.

Hubs says the chili oil wasn’t as spicy as other places but he slurped his whole bowl down so I don’t think that was a problem. Broth in the Oxtail Soup was nicely balanced but the meat could have been more tender.

Definitely a solid choice for Vietnamese in the area, would come back to try...

Came cause it was a nice rainy and cool day and the prefect hovering weather. Sat ourselves down at a table after being ushered to take a seat but then never received menus, only waters. My uncle had to get up the grab the menus, and only at that point did they return to take our order. It’s not too big of a deal.

I ordered the bun bo hue, my son got the com ga nuong and uncle and mom, the vermicelli with pork chops and egg rolls. The bun Bo hue was delicious, not as spicy as I would’ve liked, but was still a “drink all of the soup,” type of dish. My son’s bbq chicken plate was piping hot, beautifully marinated and flavored and when paired with rice was pure excellency. Everyone else who ordered the vermicelli destroyed the bowls as the eggrolls and pork were perfectly

They even got the Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee; which was pretty strong but tasted almost as sweet and creamy as ice cream. Prices are a bit steep, but the food quality was divine. The space is a bit small and cramped, so I can see this venue filling out fast with a wait for a table, but it is well...

We got the steak pho, plain pho, spring rolls, chicken wings, lychee boba and honeydew boba. Everything was really good and it was nice to get out and have a family dinner in a restaurant before I have my next baby. I really enjoyed everything. The restaurant and bathroom is clean and the staff is really nice. My daughter ate her plain pho and she loved it. My husband and I had the steak pho and it was came out piping hot and the broth was flavorful. The spring rolls were very good and crispy. The boba, was softer and less chewy but me and my husband agreed we really liked it and I really liked the lychee flavor. Would definitely come back for pho, boba drinks and...

I was wanting to introduce my husband to Vietnamese food and after a bit of research I decided to go with Pho Waipahu and needless to say that this was an amazing choice! The Banh Mi was absolutely delicious and the broth in my husband's pho (the #11 I believe) was flavorful! He was super happy with his meal and now we're set on coming back to work our way through their menu! The staff were very kind and the atmosphere was so calming. Oh yeah, and their chili oil was bomb! I can't recommend this place enough, so please give Pho Waipahu a try!
