Altough small and with limited amounts of places to sit, this place is an excellent example of a local owner who takes care of any customer who comes to eat here. The food is great. The staff is always happy to greet you and serve you. The rice is always cooked properly and whatever you order you’re going to be happy with even if it’s pancakes. I would recommend this location for local food. Their menu is also extensive. Highly recommended by local folks.

Great breakfast spot. Their fried rice is ono, and so are all the Korean foods on the menu. Friendly service and plenty of parking. They do add your bill by hand, and once we were overcharged $7.00, but it happens, we just pay attention to the tab when we get it.

We keep coming back here again and again! You will too, if you aren’t already. Great and plentiful food at Aloha prices! This is where the Locals eat! Come get some!! 🏝️🤙🏼❤️😃

I will always have memories of waipahu cafe abd their homestyle cooking. Imagine if L&S DRIVE Inn and Yummyz BBCue, had a small personable child. It would be rightfully named Waipahu Cafe. One of the most influential dishes in the waipahu foodie community is the thin crepe like egg omelette that blankets a mountain of local style fried rice; which include, onions, sausage, secret shoyu sauce, and scallions. This fried rice omelette could also be ordered with corned beef, tuna can, kim chee, or even pork hash!! Oh, and please try yourself a aide order of banana hotcakes. This sweet delicacy is made with love. And that is just the breakfast side! I would not recommend this restaurant, only because i may have to start waiting for a seat in this very small and quaint restaurant. My recommendationn is when you have spoted a table for you bbn or your family, just sit and stare at the menu which is located to the right of the griddle ontop the wall (you can't miss it). Please be patient with the staff as this is not your normal grab and go cafe. There usually two food runners and two grill cooks. Come here when you have the morning to enjoy and leisurely enjoy a good mommasan breakfast. I know I will never go anywhere else unless they change ownership or start to charge people as if the are zippy's. No one needs...

For all those who have been coming here for the Ono food and awesome service. Sad to say, it is now owned by new owners. All I'm gonna say it is the worst service! I can't believe it I came here to dine in for breakfast. There is new workers so I don't think.they have any experience with customer service. They will literally let you stand there without being asked to be helped or also take your order. You can sit wherever you want in any open booth. No social distancing. No checking of any vaccination cards on hand or even a negative covid test. You can literally just sit and wait 20 minutes just to be asked if you need water but no menus?? I have seen 3 couples for the last 30 minutes waiting to get helped walk right out the door. I just got my cream for my coffee smdh. THE WORST OWNERS/WORKERS! they take care of phone orders first before serving dine in...

I went in today 02/23/24 to make a take out order. Once I was ready to order, I asked the waitress if I could order. She did NOT say one word to me, but then gave another customer a menu. I then proceeded to tell her what I wanted to order. That's when 2 customers came in. She then proceeded to not acknowledge me & started talking to he other customers that just walked in. I then left and called to speak with the owner of the cafe. The same lady answered and I asked if I could speak to the owner. She proceeded to say she didn't understand what I was saying. And I repeated my self a few more times. She keep Saying she didn't understand. And then she finally hung up. Very RUDE & CUSTOMER...
