4/5! After a long and eventful day at the PCC, my friends and I needed some good food to end the day with. With there being a buffet here, of course we had to check it out! It also helps as a place to relax and just wind down while eating great food. The Food: The Gateway had a wide variety of food here! And for a buffet, the quality was very good and the food was delicious! There was so much food to try, so I had to get a little of everything. The Service: Service was good! Upon arriving, we were greeted by the friendly staff and made our way to our table. Everything else was pretty much self service the staff were very quick to take dirty plates. The Atmosphere: The buffet is housed in a large space with plenty of seating, very Hawaiian themed and they even had a live band play while we eat! They were incredibly talented as well. Overall, a 4/5! I'd definitely recommend giving the Gateway Buffet a try! I definitely enjoyed my time here!

Gateway has all the foods for you to be satisfied with at the end of your long journey at the Cultural Center. Definitely a must if you’re already here. I’m not completely sure if they serve freshly caught tuna on a daily basis but we were lucky enough to get a taste of this massive caught wild blue tuna from Honolulu. Thank you Lase from Indonesia for serving the hundreds of hungry people this fine fish. 🙏🙂 Also, a shout out to Moogie/A-Mann from Philippines (the name(s) are misspelled) for her excellent service. Thank you kitchen staff and everyone behind the amazing hospitality! Cheers

Toured the Polynesian cultural center on North shore Oahu. It was a great time. The entertainment is the best. By far the best exhibition of Polynesian dancers and the Samoan fire dancers here on Oahu. Things have changed quite a bit here. The luau I remember had a traditional luau feast. Now you have the gateway buffet. A tremendous hall full of food, desserts and beverages. So much food. I would recommend. If you can't find something you like here, you are hard to please. I took a whole series of photos to try and show the quantity of food and the cavernous hall.

I found it hard to get some concrete answers, so figured I'd share some of what I found.

As of 2025: Open from 4:30pm-7pm Price is $60.00 per person -You do not need to purchase a package, the buffet ticket can be purchased as a standalone option at the ticket station to the right near the entrance.

If you're looking for an "American buffet" you'll probably be disappointed, everything is more focused on local/Polynesian cuisines. Lots of meat varieties; including seafood (both raw and cooked), chicken, pork, and beef, vegetables, fruit and salad bar, a small dessert section, and soft serve ice cream.

Everything is self-serviced with all the staff being very friendly and helpful. Lots of the staff are part-time students from out of country.

This is a great buffet. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a massive buffet with an entire smorgasbord of food options. There’s a kid section, salad bar, chicken, pork, fish, and dessert section. I had a few adobo and mango habanero chicken wings, which tasted great. I then had a piece of raw cut freshly caught ahi fish, which I didn’t like because it was uncooked. I found it to be terribly slimy. However, the dessert bar more than made up for this with it’s cookies and ice cream. This buffet has fountain drinks such as pink lemonade. This buffet has live music and large paintings celebrating Hawaiian culture on its walls. I gave this buffet five stars because it has great food, great desserts, and a...
