Kitchen Delight — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Came here before SATs at Leilehua. Perfect amount food in the kitchen Delight special, chose Portuguese sausage and added fried rice for a small upcharge. $3.50 and worth it. Not fancy, but well-cooked and not too greasy.

Saw their okazuya counter and it looked pretty good. Might go back and try that someday soon.

Clientele was really mixed which was good to see. Bunch of different folks, everyone from safety shirts to local families going to sports practice to National Guard guys in uniform.

On-street parking only. But it's free.

No bathroom that I could see, but we didn't need one, so there might be one that you can access with the key, I don't know.

Probably not someplace you're going to ever bring a date for breakfast brunch, or anyone you want to super impress, but for comfort food on the go that's not fast food or McDonald's, yeah,...

wow. great place to eat at because of their breakfast special! $1.75 with a selection of luncheon meat, Portugese sausage, spam, ham, polish; the shock and awe. Also a variety of other dishes at the display window you can add to your breakfast. CASH ONLY. Sodas for $1.00. You can see them cook your food too if you pay attention. They have shoyu, red sauce(watered down), and other condiments for use. No bathroom, parking on the street only. Open from Monday to Friday 5:00am to 2pm. Weekends and Holidays 6am to 2pm.

I wanted to try a bunch of stuff to figure out what I liked. Turns out, it’s nothing in the food case. Lol. The food case is just to store and show. Definitely no type of heating or cooling in it. All the food is cold(and probably old). I didn’t feel so adventurous to try unfamiliar food(probably won’t after getting what I ordered). Can’t go wrong with the bfast...
