Update: I returned to this location with my husband during his visit. He ordered an omelette and I ordered a rare ribeye steak and eggs. They weren’t that busy though they did have a party that kept adding more people(6 were seated when we arrived, 2 were waiting to see if they could move a table to sit with the party, and 2 more ended up showing up while we waited). We placed our order and waited, figuring it would take a bit because of the other party. My husband’s order came out within 15 minutes(not bad of a wait) but we noticed that not all in the other party had received their food and knew we’d be in the same boat. Sure enough, I waited 15 more minutes before stopping the waitress passing by and cancelling my order. She sent another waitress out to apologize to me and explain that the kitchen was short staffed and that she could get started on my steak if I wanted to wait. I declined and she brought out the check. She did give us a small discount on the food we received. My husband was waiting for my food to arrive to eat so his food was cold by the time they packed it in a to go box for us to leave.
I’m so conflicted on whether I’d recommend this place again. The food has been delicious and service was good the previous 2 times I’ve eaten here alone. I just do NOT understand the reasoning behind bringing 1 order out 15 minutes before even starting another that’s sitting at the SAME table and in the SAME party. Very disappointed.
Original review(4 stars): The food was flavored very well. The price was a little high but not absurdly so. I really love that they serve all day breakfast and all day lunch. I wanted lobster at 9 in the morning. Haha. It took a while to get my food(about 30 minutes after ordering) but they were constantly there to make sure I didn’t need anything while I waited. The only problem I had were the flies that were buzzing while I ate. It wasn’t constant but it was enough to be bothersome. Especially since I didn’t want them landing on my food.
I still think everything was worth warring with flies. Lol. Can’t wait to bring my husband here.
I wish I’d gotten a better photo of the prime rib but once I tasted the lobster, I didn’t stop eating until I was full. It was a pretty hefty piece that was under the lobster.
The sautéed veggies was also a good choice. The 2 sauces that came with the plate complimented both the prime rib and the lobster. I’m very happy that I got lunch for breakfast from here. I’m hungry all over...
Read moreThe Angry Bird dish is EVIL GENIUS-LEVEL. Kimchi and a creamy gochujang sauce with garlicky fried chicken and perfectly crispy skin. If you like crispy chicken skin, this is your happy place. Get the gochujang sauce on the side so you (or your kids) can enjoy bites of the garlicky, crunchy chicken on its own before making the chicken even better with a flavorful hit of spice. You get 3 huge chicken thighs and will want a 4th one, trust me.
Surprising protein options. New York strip steak is a decent choice--juicy and very pretty. The prime rib was tasty but could've been much more tender. The mashed potatoes with gravy were comforting, and the side salad was fresh and well-dressed.
Unique to this small local chain (also in Kalihi and Aiea) is the ability to upgrade your sides to some special choices. Where else can you upgrade a basic side of white rice to ADOBO fried rice, garlic fried rice, or IMITATION CRAB SALAD? Fair warning that the imitation crab salad will come with a sprinkling of furikake, so ask for it without if you're not a fan of the seasoning.
Also unique is that a small, perfect dendrobium orchid might be a surprise bonus garnish on your plate. You could bring 50 friends (or order 50 plates) and make a lei--call it "The Aloha Bonus." 😍🌺
Don't let the slightly scary sidewalk right outside deter you (inside is different). Very open seating, nothing fancy. Well-spaced tables in a casual, family-friendly restaurant. Clean floors when we went. Food and plates were sanitary and temp correct.
Room enough to bring your stroller inside or a wheelchair. Today, two screens were showing sports and some family-friendly music videos.
Bathroom on site.

Very sweet customer service, young local people working hard.
Prices are very reasonable. You'd easily pay double if you were in Waikīkī Beach or closer...
Read moreGuieb is the go to place if you want a nice casual brunch. They have a wide variety of dishes on the menu, mostly filipino and local dishes. All of their pancakes are to die for and all of the filipino dishes that I've tried, like the longanisa, egg, and potatoes breakfast is really tasty, and usually everything is cooked perfectly. The only time I haven't enjoyed the food is when I ordered the prime rib. No matter how many times I have given the prime rib a chance, it comes out salty everytime. Like unedibly salty. Other than that, the food is good and I plan on visiting more to get a taste of the whole menu. Besides the food, the service is alright. There are a few servers that I've gotten that have been really good and I always tip them well. The hospitality is always a hit or miss depending on what server you get. I've had this one server a few times where she never checks up on us unless it's to give us the check, and the one thing that she does that is so annoying, is give me the check before asking If I want to order more. Besides that, the service is not bad and the food is comforting and Ono everytime. And just a little warning, the parking sucks and is hard to find, however I can typically find street parking near by and walk to the restaurant. ...
