Mediocre food, terrrible service and over priced goods? Then Lei Lei’s Bar & Grill is the place for you! Step up to rude hostess who will eye you up, care to have cold rice with your ahi steak ( less then 4 oz) aka Fish plate for $25 with a wilted Caesar salad coming right up! Like to be treated like your a blight to the Restaurant staff? Allow them to seat you where ever they dislike. Continue to let them act like you are chopped liver, and by all mean over pay for the drinks, then allow for server to only come to the table three times because you are such an in convince to all. Descriptions don’t fit the food offered. As well as being under whelmed, across the board. It is beyond outrageous. Cookies where so hard I had stab one of them 7-10 times before I could break it into smaller pieces, resulting in me wonder out loud if this was supposed to be warm cookies possibly? Cookies may have been fresh 6-8 hour previously, but by 12:50 PM left a lot be desired. I was advised dinner is far better. I have ZERO, I repeat Zero! Desire to Return to ANY food establishments at Turtle Bay, I would advise all to rethink their food options again. Especially after seeing what can be served by surrounding areas local options.

The experience begins with a menu handed to you for preordering food and drinks before being seated. The silverware wrapped in paper napkins felt cheap for the prices fabric napkins would've been fitting. We ordered escargot rare filet mignon with fresh mashed potatoes and my wife chose ahi steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We both got mai tais. Drinks arrived quickly but were average. The escargot was buried under excessive roasted cheese making it hard to eat without poking through a stubborn layer frustrating and unnecessary. The escargot itself was soft and not too earthy. My filet mignon arrived mediumrare instead of rare. The server noticing my reaction swiftly took the plate and had the kitchen redo it. I rarely send food back flashbacks to 2005’s “Waiting” with Ryan Reynolds haunt me. The second filet was perfectly rare but tasteless, usually salt does the trick but there was barely any and the mashed potatoes were excellent. My wife's ahi was grainy and bland though her mashed potatoes were good. Overall it felt like a roadside diner. Preordering before sitting is like fast food in a budget restaurant disappointing for the price.

As a professional chef, I know good food when I see and taste it. My fresh ahi tuna steak with a wasabi drizzle on crispy wontons and a light Asian sauce was outstanding ! I don't know the servers names, but our lovely server was so accommodating, and made us feel so welcome that I want to go back again tomorrow:) the garlic mashed potatoes were a nice upgrade at no extra charge instead of plain rice like some many other restaurants offer. I had a medley of fresh vegetables in the portion was very generous, and I took some home. I like that the starch and vegetables were included. I also like that they don't hit you with a 3% surcharge using a card. My dish was around $42 and we had wine and drinks as well which were great! The expediters and owner's daughter were also very friendly and efficient. We never felt rushed, and they accommodated us by moving our table out of the Sun. I was delighted to hear this was a stand-alone family restaurant not associated with the other restaurants at turtle Bay. Nice to see locals thrive in this lovely resort 👍 Happy Camper

These guys definitely deserve the 5 stars, service was excellent, even though I was irritated having to wait 20 minutes to get seated it was well worth it, after thought it was our fault because we didn't make a reservation thankfully they just squeezed us into their busy schedule. Our server James was on top of everything, the calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers came out of the kitchen very quickly and were fresh and delicious, perfect amount of crunch and seasoning meanwhile the meat inside was juicy and perfectly cooked, the homemade cocktail sauce accompanying them was just amazing. My husband ordered the full rack of ribs and it was awesome, juicy and tender full of flavor, the mashed potatoes and coleslaw accompanying were equally mouthwatering, and the blue cheese crumbles on the side were remembered without a second request, the perfect balance of creamy and tangy. My ahi steak was to die for it was perfectly cooked, it wasn't dry or underdone the wasabi sauce and I can't remember the name of the other were the perfect melody of flavors. Very very satisfied, would recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent meal on the North Shore with efficient and friendly service! Don't forget to call ahead for a reservation as they are a popular spot. Remember to ask for James as your waiter because he rocks! -Jeremy and Lisa Wright from Wright Family Tattoos in...

Don’t waste your time here. The food was sub par, the service was terrible - their only saving grace was the nice views out onto the golf course.

While waiting for our table, we were asked if we wanted to order drinks - which we presumed we’d have while we waited. But then we were hurriedly told we needed to order our meals at that time as well… while waiting in the outdoor lobby area of the restaurant, prior to getting seated. Very strange. We hadn’t even seen a menu at that point and were very confused, until the woman working told us that she could not seat us until she took both our food and drink order allegedly to “help control the flow in the kitchen.” Nonetheless, we played along and ordered a couple beers and two appetizers - the artichoke crab dip and veggie spring rolls.

The crab dip was very greasy but decent otherwise. Served with under toasted baguette. The veggie spring rolls tasted like they were from the frozen section of 7elevn - fried and flavorless. But hey, the beers were good at the very least.

When we asked to close out our bill, we had to wait another 15 minutes and follow up with 3 separate servers, just to get our bill and pay. For reference- they were not super busy either.

All in all, I would take a pass on this spot. If you’re dining at Turtle Bay and looking for casual fare - just go to the pool bar. Way better vibes,...
