I have to give it a 3 only because the 3 girls at the bakery were the worst. First of all I was waiting standing in front of the counter waiting for my number to be called and I was the only person. There waiting mind you. Another women came pulled a number and as soon as she pulled a number one of the girls closest to the register changed the number which turned to the out to be my number so I proceeded to the counter and she turned to the lady who just pulled a number and stared to take her order and not even asked what is her number. So I stood there and she turned to me and said yes, I am with someone so I had told her nicely that I have the number on the board so she just turned to the other girl irrated and said she has that number, I am busy. She did not apologize and the next girl was rude. I stayed calm and was very nice with gratitude and simply ordered what I wanted graciously telling her thank you. When she was getting the cocopuffs and other baked goods she was totally stuffing it and packing it really bad because some of the items I bought were smashed like the sponge cake was smashed flat on one side. I would suggest not to go at night in the bakery side of liliha bakery the staff is young and not very nice. This was my first time coming there. I had dinner which was really great my server was really good and had very good suggestions like the guava plantation tea. She was very sweet and aware of your needs. For a bill that was 45 dollars for my sister and I for dinner was really worth the dinner. I tipped her 15 dollars. I like the food and there server we had. I would go and have dinner there but I would recommend going to the original liliha in liliha or the nimitz location in the future I will continue to make the drive out there rather than the pearl highlands location, it's not worth it.

We went to the Pearl City Liliha bakery, and for the first time we decided to eat in. Normally we just go and get donuts and bounce. Anyway we waited about 45 minutes for a table and I ordered smoked pork belly and my wife ordered chicken mushroom. The food came fairly quick however we noticed that my wife got hamburger steak instead and my pork belly was completely burnt. The server disappeared on us and we eventually had to ask someone busing the table next to us if they could bring my wife correct dish. When the server finally came back she looked at my poor billing and she asked me was it okay because it look burnt. I told her it was burnt and then she offered to replace it. When she brought back the replacement dish it too was burnt and she even said oh it's not much different. The white rice was greatly overcooked and mushy. I love fresh rice but this rice was awful. By now we have been here for about an hour and I was tired of waiting and I was very hungry so I just decided to eat it anyway. All I can say is grill burnt pork belly is much different from smoked pork belly. My wife's food tasted okay after she finally got the correct dish except for the ton of onions that was on it which seemed like it was more than meat. The tea was good but it just tastes like juice. The best part of the meal was stopping by that bakery to get pou mochi donuts that were fresh out the fryer.

Whenever I’m in Hawaii, Liliha Bakery is an absolute must-stop. It’s one of those places that just feels like home — no trip to the islands is complete without it. For me, the main draw has always been their famous Coco Puffs. They’re light, creamy, and have that perfect balance of sweetness with the Chantilly frosting on top — honestly, nothing else compares. Over the years, I’ve made it a little tradition to swing by, grab a box (or three), and share them with family and friends. But on my most recent visit, I couldn’t help but notice a pretty significant increase in price. I actually did a double take when I saw the total. I know prices have gone up everywhere, but it still caught me off guard since I’ve been coming here for so long. They’re still just as delicious as ever — that hasn’t changed — but the sticker shock definitely made me pause. In the past, I’d easily buy 2 or even 3 dozen, but this time I decided to just go with 1 dozen. They were gone in minutes, of course, but it made me a little nostalgic for when I could treat everyone without thinking twice about the cost. Despite the price jump, I’ll still be back whenever I’m on Oʻahu. There’s just something special about Liliha Bakery — the old-school vibe, the friendly staff, and those one-of-a-kind Coco Puffs that taste like pure Hawaii nostalgia. I just might have to pace myself next time!

Bakery staff, including manager, (1) do not follow (a) bakery's internal procedures & (b) written instructions; (2) are not helpful and (3) provide empty promises. This is my first and last order with this bakery due to this awful experience. Go to A Catered Experience for any large order...do NOT use this bakery for any large order.

I placed a large online order totaling about $800. My credit card was charged ~$800, but no one from Liliha Bakery called or emailed me to confirm my large order.

I then sent an email with requests to separate the items so that I could distribute to my child's middle school classrooms for my child's bday snack and had two separate telephone conversations with Liliha Bakery staff to confirm my order, my instructions to separate the items by classroom, and pickup timeframes (I had to do two pickups because all the items could not fit in my car with one pickup).

When I arrived to pickup the first batch of my order, the bakery staff did not separate the items as I requested and told me that their manager instructed them not to follow the written instructions and ignore my requests.

Then that night, liliha bakery called me to ask if I picked up my order because some of the items I ordered were still sitting in a box on their counter. No refund was made for these items.

The next day, the manager left an incomplete message and told me she will call me back. That manager never called me back.

For a large order totaling ~$800, I had expected better service. I'll stick with going to A Catered Experience for my large orders...very professional and helpful staff at A...

We visited the Pearl City location today, 3/24/2023, around 6pm and received horrible customer service. I entered and proceeded to the bakery because I wanted poi mochi donuts. I pulled my ticket #35 and noticed that there were 14 mochi donuts left. I waited and was also very cognizant of people around me, who was there before me and those who came after. I saw the digital counter displaying 34 and then I got ready as I was #35. While I stood waiting, the employee behind me called the family that came in after me and gave them a dozen of the mochi donuts. At this point, I looked up at the digital counter and saw that the number displayed now was 36 and no one called #35. When I informed the employee behind the counter about this, she straight out lied to my face and told me that the family she was helping had #34 when I know for a fact that they came in after me. At this point, another employee behind the counter gave another customer that came after me the last 2 mochi donuts. When I informed her about them skipping over my #35, she told me that the man had told her that he had #35. When I showed her the #35 ticket in my hand she didn’t think it was a big deal and just said the remote does that sometimes. When I told her that she was not treating my concern with sincerity, she said sorry and that there was nothing she could do. When I asked for her name and if I could speak to a manager, she introduced herself as Jenny and that she was the district manager. What a horrible representative and Liliha bakery should...
