McDonald's — Restaurant in Oʻahu

At 2:10pm today, I ordered 2 large fries from the kiosk inside to avoid the long line of the drive-thru and received a refund instead of my food after waiting 40 minutes.

I waited 10 minutes in line because no one serviced us at the counter. Then I decided to place my order at the kiosk because the employees, including the manager, were only accommodating the drive-thru customers.

After 30 additional minutes of waiting, I asked a manager to help us all because 7 people including myself were waiting just as long.

I had to go pick up my daughter from the after-school program and told the manager that he needed to balance out the service because it was not fair to be ignored. He was not happy about me asking for my food.

It was too much for him to handle when I reasonably and politely asked if he could give me my two large fries or I would have to ask for a refund.

He had a nasty attitude and chose to give me a refund instead of my food. This manager should be fired for his temperament towards oath Ng customers. His lack of care towards humanity and lack of customer service is unacceptable for a fast food employee. I was not expecting this treatment.

1ST of all, waiting 40 minutes for large fries at McDonald's is ridiculous and unacceptable.

2nd of all, the amount of time it took him to give me a refund: he could have given me my food. But his stubbornness led me out of this establishment, feeling horrible and mistreated.

3rd of all, hevyas no business managing any establishment. He has zero customer service etiquette and even worse: a nasty...

Everyone knows McDonald's restaurants. Their service is fast, priced nicely and inside the restaurant is always clean. Also the convenience of having a drive thru helps keep the inside of the restaurant less crowded. So 5 stars for convenience. It is difficult to argue against that.

The dollar menu and various promotions such as Big Mac Monday's add to the customer draw. There is always something that the customer can buy that will save money. So 5 stars for value.

There was talk before about how other fast food restaurants were impacting MCD and how MCD would be left behind the competition. I know that as long as there are grandparents and grandchildren Mickey d's will always be busy and thrive because MCD is the restaurant of choice for little kids and grandma and grandpa.

Adding to my review I also want to let everyone know that the McRib and McTeri sandwiches are spot-on good! Great with fries and a Coke.

Service is Good. Just Be Alert About Cashiers Working At Night. I went last night, Gave the guy $100.03 my amount was $33.03 for dinner and the guy with the Manager gave me only $7.00 while the $60.00 was sitting right on the counter above the register. He owed me $67.00 Change.. He goes here you go $7.00 change, I said Excuse me, I gave you $100.03 he went oh laughed while a young manager standing next to him then grabbed the $60.00 said Sorry laughing. To me that's NOT funny. If you don't know how to give out the proper change then don't be a Cashier. Can you imagine if I didn't check and just drove off. He would have pocketed $60.00.
