This was our first time eating at Raising Cane's in the Mililani Town Center.
It was quiet when we got there around 5:00 pm and we were greeted by Frederick (Fred) who kindly and patiently helped us decide what to order by asking a couple of questions and then recommending the large combo since we wanted to share a meal.
The large combo consists of 6 chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, 2 containers of sauce, and a thick slice of toasted and buttered bread.
We are not normally fond of breast meat since it is generally dry, however the fingers are very moist and flavorful at RC.
The sauce is also tasty and looks very much like thousand island dressing.
The coleslaw isn't overly sweet which was a first for me. It was good coleslaw, though. We liked it.
The fries tasted like they had been sitting a few minutes before being served. Probably because we arrived during a lull. They weren't crispy which is how I prefer them, but they were okay.
Fred walked our food over to our table which was surprising. I think maybe I was supposed to wait near the counter but it was a nice gesture to bring it to us and he did it with a smile.
Fred has great energy and a likeable personality. He seems to enjoy people and his job and it translates into an excellent employee. Actually everyone there seemed to like their job. Positive energy all around. Thank you, Fred for your excellent customer service and winning personality. We will definitely eat...
Read moreTonight was the third time my drive thru order was messed up. Person taking the order was too busy yakking with her coworkers and not paying attention. Finally told her to get my order straight and focus. She was still laughing but finally took my order. Paid for it and left. Should have checked it before I drove off because Miss Clueless screwed it up.ordered a caininator with extra slaw bur what I got was a box dinner, no slaw and only 4 pieces of chicken. Called the Mililani store, spoke with a super and was asked to come back. She was apologetic and offered me a fresh order. After the order was prepped and boxed the porker behind the station slammed my order down on the counter and did the same with my extra slaw and to top it off she gave me a dirty look. The super did nothing to correct her attitude. Laughed at her and walked out. This is the last time I’ll go to Canes……
Update: Contacted corporate. They were very nice and told me that the Canes in Mililani was a franchise and they would tell the franchisee to contact me to straighten this mess out. That was two days ago and nothing. I’m done. Canes can stuff their chicken where the sun don’t shine. You’re better off...
Read moreOur review of Raising Cane chicken fingers. In mililani at the mililani Town center. First of all this is one of the newest fast food businesses in mililani. It's right on the corner across from mililani high School. The chicken fingers are freshly made and they use real chicken what a thought. The breading is nice and light chicken moist and tender. French fries are a little soggy but that probably means that they made it from real potatoes. The coleslaw is excellent, and try the lemonade. I usually order the caniac box that comes with six chicken fingers and I share that with my wife. And they have a really good dipping sauce. When you get there if there's a long line in the Drive-Thru then just pull up in front of the restaurant and walk in and take your order it'll be quicker. They have a very limited venue but they're very good at what they do. See you there. Hugs Wes and Wanda....
