I stopped by Raising Cane’s at Schofield Barracks, hoping for something bold, something flavorful. What I got was… sauce. Glorious sauce. Honestly, the Cane’s sauce is the star of the show—rich, tangy, well-balanced. It’s the kind of thing you want to dip everything in, fries included. And thankfully, the fries are decent enough to hold up their end of the bargain. But the chicken? Bland. Dry. A missed opportunity. Without the sauce, it’s just a lifeless piece of fried poultry, and that’s the truth. If your entire menu hinges on a single condiment, you’re not really showcasing any culinary skill. It’s not a total disaster—the sauce does enough heavy lifting to make the meal edible—but if you run out of it? You’re done. Two stars from me. Not because I hate it, but because it needs a serious upgrade in flavor and ambition.

We were hungry but not starving so we shared the four strip meal. It comes with four strips of chicken, crinkle fries, coleslaw, toast and a fountain drink. You can also ask for a glass of water with ice free of charge. The chicken strips were crispy, freshly made and very hot but had lots of oil on them that could have been drained off once they were removed from the frier. Aside from that, it was a good lunch and enjoyed by the both of us. They keep very busy with customers at lunchtime so you know their food is good!

Placed an order there 2 weeks ago . They did not inform me before hand their system was messed up . The guy that was cooking asked me to go to the atm. I told him i didn’t want to do that as I would be charged at the atm . He told me “it’s only like three dollars .” Which was not the point. He wanted me to go out of my way to the atm and pay extra because their system was messed up . He wanted me to fix his problem. He told me i could go to the atm or hand back the food (which is disgusting to take back food you have already handed a customer) . He was very rude and at the least could of discounted my order for having to go take money out the atm after i had already stood in line 10 minutes with my kids waiting on them to be able to charge my card. They knew their system was having problems but did not inform me when i ordered or i would not of ordered. I filled out a complaint on the website and only received a generic email saying i could get a free box combo with no actual way to claim it. The cashier (female) was very apologetic. The cook (assuming he was also in charge) had a...

This was my first time having Raising Cane’s so I don’t have much to compare it to. I will say first that the employee at the register had incredible customer service skills and our food came out very quickly. The sweet tea was also good, not too sugary. That being said, I felt like the chicken was dry and bland. I don’t think it’s their fault- maybe it’s just how it’s supposed to be? Not sure, but I was pretty disappointed that it did not live up to the hype. I don’t think I’d spend $13 on a meal here again unless it was the...
