Went through the drive thru Sunday morning, when I ordered my usual: a venti non-fat iced vanilla latte with two Splenda...the male who took my order seemed confused and repeated my order by asking, "So you want a non-fat latte with sugar free vanilla?" I said, "No, I want a non-fat ICED vanilla latte with two Splenda." He said, " Oh....we're out of venti size cups for Iced drinks." I said, " a grande is fine." He repeated the entire order (including two other drinks) again, and again messed up only on my drink by saying ..."and a grande iced latte with two Splenda." I said, it's a Vanilla latte." He literally gruffed, cut me off, and said, I'll see you at the window." When I finally arrived at the window, another, very pleasant male handed me the other two drinks and said that my drink would be right up. Suddenly, the person taking the orders (with the head-set on) appeared at the window and said with sarcastic attitude, "Sir, the latte you ordered was it non-fat?" I said, " Yes....non-fat milk...I've never had this much trouble ordering my iced vanilla latte..." Then he disappeared and the window clerk came back. I asked for the other guy's name and he sais, "Alex." I told him that "Alex was rude and had an attitude problem!" The window clerk showed acknowledgement by nodding his his head, secretly grinning, and widening/blinking his eyes. When Alex finally came back with my drink I told him that he had been rude and had an attitude. I said I would report him to the manager. He said, "I'm sorry sir!" disappearing quickly back away from the drive...
Read moreCheck your drive thru order before you leave. I, sadly, did not. The stickers were correct.. but whoever made my coffee and food was either rushing to the point of carelessness.. or they just did not care.
I only discovered the error once I was on the highway into town. Instead of happily sipping on my lavender iced coffee with lavender cold foam.. i was unpleasantly surprised by a cloyingly sweet.. slightly medicinal tasting coffee.. i sipped some more.. trying to figure out what they had put in it. Traffic was particularly bad yesterday (to anyone else stuck in it.. I hope your coffee was delicious).. so I was able to pop open the lid.. the foam was pink.. not purple.. and after wracking my brain.. i figured it out.
it was cherry.
They put cherry instead of lavender.. and no one noticed the bright pink foam on a label that says lavender. I would've noticed.. but the now opaque cold cups make it impossible to tell at first glance. So now I'm stuck in horrendous traffic with my medicinal tasting coffee.. and I go to take a bite of the wrap pocket thing.. and was again surprised. It was not the falafel that I ordered.. and that was on the sticker label.. it was the chicken jalapeño.
At this point.. I'm just trying to not let the frustration take over as I'm gridlocked on the H1.
Lesson learned. Don't tip and don't leave until after you check everything.. cuz they don't care that you're about to be in 2 hr traffic sipping on a cup of...
Read moreBldg renovation - good, but SIT-IN EXPERIENCE - BAD! Seating space has significantly decreased with renovation, there were only 3 tables with 2 seats at each table. Two of us were able to sit down and I made a mobile order for counter pick-up. I kept looking at the counter for my order and after a long while I finally asked the barista about my order which she said was being made. After another LONG WHILE I asked again and she said it was sitting at the drive-thru window. This once go-to spot for relaxing, meeting, studying, reading, etc. has turned into a never-go-there-again spot. Service was lacking with no attentiveness. Atmosphere was distasteful with employees having loud personal conversations while they were making drive-thru orders. I don't recommend coming here if you plan to sit-in. I will not return, I would rather drive farther to the...
