Foodland Kapolei — Local services in Oʻahu

I really like this foodland they have different things to offer..there sushi bar is bomb!!! BBUUUTTTT there's some people that spoil my visit sometimes when I'm there...like MEL in the poke department..zayden was helping me at first and I asked if he could make a secret spicy ahí no Masago..to which he replied "yah sure can".. so he said something to Mel and she came to the front with an attitude said something under her breath like "oh cannot make special order" with an irratated look!!! Didn i just make you life harder?? Or having a bad day?? Sorry not sorry..

Well 1ST of all it's not my dam fault some people don't like Masago on all of there poke..SECONDLY you need get your people on the same page, can't make special orders, not one says yes and the other says no..AND THIRDLY make sure the customer doesn't read your face and here your under the breath comments because you never know who your talking...

Over the top mask enforcement. Completely uncalled for in June of 2021. Literally have been chased around the store on two separate occasions because my mask wasn't fully covering my nose. Security guard gal Lote and assistant manager Derrick have created an aggressive environment that is completely uncalled for. A long standing customer who lives in the neighborhood and I won't go back. Absolutely ridiculous behavior by these two. Especially when I wear the exact same mask with no issues at every other store in Kapolei. By the way, the food prices are way overpriced and the parking lot is terrible. Safeway in Kapolei is a much, much better option. It's sad because the cashier's here are super nice. Security and Assistant manager,...

How did I not know about Foodland. Thx Google. Google Foodland. Very clean and spacious grocery store by any standards. Parking lot is a bit small to park a Tahoe but we managed. All employees we encountered we were very nice and helpful. The inventory of Foodland is not really missing a thing. The deli is bomb. Pastries are in abundance. You will also find traditional hawaiian "go to's". We also found that there were many open cashiers making it a breeze to check out.
