This is my neighborhood Starbucks. I always knew the people that worked there were kind, courteous, and friendly, but this past Saturday I really put their customer service skills to the test. I thought I would go there and enjoy reading my new books while enjoying a triple mocha frappuccino. I order my drink and it comes quickly I start to settle into a nice high top table and chair and before you know it my drink goes tumbling over. A fountain of triple mocha frappuccino rained down over the table, chair, floor and I'm sure somebody in the vicinity walked out with a chocolate stain somewhere on them. I alerted the staff they went into action and out came the mop, bucket, and towels to clean up my mess. In the process of the cleanup a brand new venti frappuccino was ready at the counter, at no charge, for me. After the clean up I did sit down to do exactly what I wanted. Just when I was getting ready to leave would you believe I spilled my drink again! The very gracious girl who cleaned up my first mess was back with her bucket and cleaning supplies and said "ma'am don't worry about it, I got it" I thought the best thing I could do was clean up what I could, say thank you, and quietly exit. Read moreLove the baristas at the Kapolei Starbucks across Home Depot! I would say that 99.9% of the employees are super friendly and accomodating! For example, last weekend when me and the hubbs went to get some coffee, I was waiting for our order inside the store. When I got my husbands order I tasted it and it needed just a little more sweetness so rather than asking the barista who was busy with another customer I decided to just grab a couple of sugar packets in his coffee and as I was trying to put the lid back on his cup, the cup slipped out from under my hand and I had spilled half of it on the counter. I felt so stupid for being clumsy. The barista who took my order saw my mess and he was so gracious about it and told me not to worry that he would be more than happy to make me a new coffee! I told him that I would pay for it but he said not to worry, that accidents happen and not to worry about paying for the new one he made me. In all that mess I had caused the barista was nothing but friendly, understanding and all with a smile on his face!!! Read moreI was at this location April 18, 2025 at around 9:45-10:00 A.M. The baristas were timely, smiling, friendly, and professional. They were working diligently while I could tell there was an overwhelming number of online orders coming in on top of the customers in-store. I was greeted and had my order taken as soon as I walked in. And my drinks were made correctly in a timely manner. Another customer was loudly berating several team members because of an issue with her app order. I watched them kindly apologizing and doing their best to help her understand they cannot do anything about app problems. They were offering to make her order, showing evidence they had not received it through the app, finding an app customer service number for her, and eventually calling their manager. This customer was rudely disregarding all their quality customer service and continuing to yell at them and tell them it's unacceptable. The baristas on this shift deserve raises because I know they are not being compensated to deal with that level of difficulty in a customer. I commend them for keeping their kindness and...
