Yoonyson Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Oʻahu

I was the first one in on Saturday June 7,2025. I ordered a meat jun. People kept coming in and I waited and waited and waited for my order. 3 groups of people who came in after me got their food and I was still waiting. Apparently these people who had called in, have priority, it didn't matter if I was their first live customer thru the door. I kept asking the man at the counter where my order was and he stuck his head to the back and said where's the regular meat jun, meanwhile a whole tray of meat jun came out. Why couldn't they cook extra while they were preparing the tray, I have only 1 order? So 45 minutes later my order came up. He was preparing the customer's order who just came in, so I asked him if my order was the one on the counter. The place has great food, but the service...

Food is okay, but the wait is always really long or backed up. I called my order before I left Waimanalo, and they hadn't started it by the time I got there so I still had to wait nearly 15-20 minutes. I feel like they just need to find a way to be better efficient. The cashier kept asking me to confirm what my order was. The other cashier took an order, but wrote it on the bottom of the plate, which didn't make sense to me. I dont like writing reviews, but since its been on going and I been eating here along time. The side choices and vegetables are very good and they give a good size portion which I love. Lately the Meat Jun is cold and stale and the Bar-B-Q Chicken is also cold and I always get served the bone part with little meat on it. Today I called and nicely asked for fresh Meat Jun and my meat Jun was stale and cold once again. I know I can warm it up but I would love to have fresh, hot food.
