Martha's Vineyard Mexican Beach Vibes Sun-warmed boards creak underfoot, gulls wheel above, and a breeze carries salt, seaweed, and the bright scent of lime â then you find it: a little Mexican outpost that feels like a secret beach cantina dropped onto the Vineyard. String lights sway, a playlist of surfy guitar and Latin rhythms hums, and the line moves with easy island patience as cooks sling plates with sun-kissed swagger.
The scene unfolds like this: you order a ceviche that arrives in a chilled bowl, citrus sharp and ocean-fresh, the perfect seaside opener. Next comes a burrito stuffed to the gills, warm tortilla hugging a treasure trove of tender fillings. Build-your-own bowls let you patchwork your day â chicken, steak, or fish â piled high and finished with lively sauces. A zesty pico de gallo thatâs spot-on lands beside fresh, crunchy nachos that shatter with every bite.
Staff greet you like old friends you have yet to meet, passing plates with sunlit smiles and island ease. Forks pause only to savor, conversations drift to ferry times, and strangers trade bites like theyâre sharing a summer secret. Every mouthful tastes of the Vineyard and Mexico at once â familiar comfort with a splash of adventure.

Read moreWorst ordering experience Iâve ever had. They were out of everything. Didnât find this out until I had basically put my order in. The person couldnât understand my order so I had to write it down. Still got it wrong. I finally walked out with food after about 30 min of trying to order and the bag split. I asked for another bag and then one to put around it to avoid it splitting again. Was told I could t have one because the manager wouldnât allow it. I have two small children and he was unable to deduce that the decent thing to do wouldâve been to give another bag. Very strange. It was his first day, he wasnât trained and unprepared for this job. Most awful experience Iâve ever had. Even if this food is good I wonât be back bc of the bad taste in my mouth.
Update: the food was almost as bad as the service.
Reply 9/14 They were out of chips, rice, beef, and burritos (per the employee). Your suggestion that I have a cultural bias is highly offensive and untrue. I worked to explain my order multiple times to the employee even going so far as to write it down when he asked. My husband came and tried to help clear things up too. He paid, I did not, but either way neither of us loudly berated anyone. I wasnât aware of the price until after we left so thatâs not true either. It definitely was not worth the $80 though. Good...
Read moreWe visited the place after seeing all the great reviews online, but left with mixed feelings. The frozen margarita and the paloma were delicious, but the p-star martini we were served didn't even resemble the original drink in the slightest. Our first bartender was super kind and fast, but the second bartender was grumpy and literally fighting with his colleague in front of all the customers, going as far as hitting him with a towel (and not in a playful way). But the worst was the hostess in the front. I have never before left a negative review, let alone called a person out like this. But the lady with the black ponytail and classes treated us like literal dirt under her shoes from the moment we entered. No idea why: we were a party of 4, appropriately dressed, just looking for a place to have a nice drink. We were calm and well behaved customers, not looking for trouble. Her behaviour caused us to quickly finish our drinks and leave the place. A pity, given that others have had such wonderful...
