Protein Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Oak Brook

I ordered the perk smoothie today at work and although it was very delicious i didn’t realize that it had caffeine in it until i started to feel sick some time after finishing it as i am caffeine intolerant. On door dash it doesn’t say how much caffeine it has or that it has any at all. It does say espresso but i believed it was only espresso flavored. unfortunately, i got a bad migraine and started vomiting at work so my experience wasn’t that great. it was my first time ordering from here and usually things indicate when they have caffeine and how much it has and i even looked on the protein bar & kitchen website. it wasn’t until i called the store and asked if it contained caffeine and the woman said the protein in it contains caffeine equivalent to a cup of coffee. Being caffeine intolerant this still affected me pretty bad as i never consume it for this reason. I did like the flavor but i wont be ordering this again, i wish it would have indicated the caffeine content in the description of the drink. Ordered this Veggie Chili soup along with a Summer Protein bowl. Both were delicious but the complain is about the Veggie Chili as shown on the photos attached. I took the pictures as soon as I opened the lid. It really stunned me as to how blunt they are with their scam lol. ONLY 1/4 of the bowl being filled for 8 bucks??? Second picture shows a spoon reached down to the bottom to show how little the portion actually was. The pictures were taken BEFORE one single spoon of soup even being consumed. I really hope this is simply an overpriced item on the menu and had nothing to do with my LAST NAME. But it's really hard to think of any other reasons as to why they would fill only 1/4 of the bowl of soup for a customer. Isn't it common sense to fill no less than half the bowl of soup?? Just wow. Never again come back to this location. I will definitely try out the same item at a different location and upload the pictures just to prove that it wasn't the restaurant itself, but the specific staff...

I am very confused by this place. Great location, very clean, a menu to where I would like to try every single thing, just very strange experiences. I work down the street, and I've tried coming to this location twice within the past 6 months or so, and both times I ended up leaving without buying anything. I wait at the register, see employees in the kitchen, some are working, some are standing around talking, and no one comes up to take my order. I tried getting their attention both times, and nothing. I want to like this place, I want to try their food, but if no one wants to take an order, it makes it a bit difficult.
