Let me start by saying I love the Roti concept and food. But know that service is everything. So after feeling rushed through the line by a young man (fast food right) ok cool..I get to the register my meal $19 and some change...so I hand the young lady a $100 bill she says ok here is your change. I gathered my items and start to count my change..$60.11 Me: excuse me ma'am you only gave me $60.11(while showing her the money) her: oh no I gave u $80 let me see. I hand her the money and she says this is $80 hands it back..so I spread the money out so she could see...she opens the register n hands me a $10 her: here $80 dollars me: please go get someone else...the guy comes out I explained what happens n he:says oh this is $80 ...umm wait ohh.. and adds a $10..me: Thank u.. I find a seat to eat now everyone is giving me the side n being rude towards me because I spoke up about my missing money..So before I leave I go back up to purchase my child a meal now they're trying to figure out who is going to serve me..(animosity still in the air) another young lady comes to serve me.. as she pour the dill sauce on the plate i notice a lot of red stuff in it..me:What is that red stuff in it.? Her:oh its red pepper sauce me: my child dont like red pepper sauce, I ask for dill can I have that her: Well it's all in the dill sauce and it's gone stay in there.. Read moreWe used to go to this location alot about 5-6 years ago and decided to go for Falafel since that is my fav item from Roti. I was terribly disappointed in the food quality. Falafel does not taste the same and the employee said they were fresh although im pretty sure they were sitting in the warming tray for some time aince they were not crispy and quite dehydrated tasting. Reduced topping choices and not very appetizing looking. My falafel used to look vibrant and healthy when i ordered it before now it look stale and wilted. Honestly it didnt even taste good and its a salad it should at least taste fresh. This visit has turned me off from ever going to Roti again. I didnt even begin to mention the service from the guy working behind the counter. He didnt even greet us or ask us what he can prepare for us. I had to say hi and then waited for any response which still got nothing. He wouldnt make new falafel when i asked bc he insisted they were just made. Then he charged me for salmon bowl which was more money then the falafel salad. Luckily the girl that came to the counter after i had completed my purchase had rectified the situation by refunding my whole meal. She was polite...
Read moreMy wife and I love Mediterranean food though there aren't many options by us. When we saw that Roti opened we knew it was only a matter of time before we finally had a chance to try the chain that offers a Chipotle like experience on creating your own pitas, salads, and rice bowls.
She had a steak wrap and I had a chicken both with plenty different sauces and options. On the side were an order of pita chips with hummus and falafel. Between the wraps, she hands down made the right choice. The steak was delicious! The pita itself was quite taste as well. On mine, the sauce and ingredients were highly flavorful but I felt that the chicken lacked much of an impact which was the one negative.
The falafel wasn't the same style I've had in the past but was absolutely delicious and my only regret was only making a single order of them which included three as we could have used more! The pita chips and hummus had far too much hummus for the portion size (which was fine as we used it on the pitas and falafel though still had more left over!)
Absolutely a place we'll be...
