Smashburger Central — Restaurant in Oak Grove

This place had been on my to visit and review list for quite a while and we were finally able to make it happen! For a new place in a location that’s turned over many times, and on a Sunday, it sure was busy! In our typical reviewing fashion we ordered the classic and just one thing to share and decide before revisiting the menu. Whatever the OG main burger was called I forgot because it freakin slapped. I’m still thinking about the fries and I don’t know how I’m gonna trade those babies up for the cheese curds. It’ll be like betrayal because they did right by those and they did right by me they were so good. The house sauce is legit and everything should be dipped in I think. As a peanut butter lover I was looking forward to trying the peanut punch, but as it’s a fan favorite it was sold out and that’s all good by me because we will be back. Before we even polished off the double burger combo, we order the kitchen sink burger, leaving the jalapeños off, just in case we couldn’t handle the heat. Usually I’m a spicy fan but I wanted to play it safe. I’m pretty sure all the burgers come standard as doubles but I could be wrong. My tastebuds got a little happy real quickly and I might’ve forgotten some things I made note of for you all. That kitchen sink burger was messier but worth it, I mean it’s all in the name right? They have a create your own thing and you can order through delivery places but I’m never as much of a fan of those. The vibe was so much better in person and this dude was doing this all as a one man show, and I really just don’t know how he turned out such good food all by himself. As a guest, and a fan, I just want you all to be patient because it’s worth it! We plan to eat here as much as we can before the husband has to pcs and he said our next date night can be here so I’m already planning my next burger and crossing my fingers for some peanut punch! We had to clean our own table it was sticky . Every table was dirty. No condiments available (ketchup) any! Drinks were flat or not working , tried 3 different ones and gave up . Finally got water. Asked for the ketchup only to be ignored . Drove all the way from Cunningham only to be sadly disappointed. This smash burger is nothing like the smash n beef. Do not wast your time or money!

I did try the ketchup beside the machine. This is why I asked the lady if there was any more ketchup. I have heard wonderful things about your establishment. I appreciate your response. I would definitely put the power tool up and have the young lady some help. The gentleman that came in as we left who works there as well, was extremely rude and definitely does not give you a positive representation of quality . His attitude sarcasm was un called for and inside of goofing off he should probably help the young lady. That is most definitely not a one person job and we recognize that. Came in on my lunch break, I’m always looking for GOOD FOOD that’s not fast food. Decided to try this place. Let’s just say I’m glad I picked this place for my CHEAT DAY since being on my weight loss journey. I picked a smash burger of course and it was delicious. My ONLY complaint about it was the meat doesn’t taste seasoned!!! Customer service definitely on point!!!!!! The young lady, was VERY friendly and professional. The chef literally came out and spoke to me as well. I was offered 2 samples of their specialty drinks which was BEYOND DELICIOUS. Tho I wanted to go full throttle and also get one of the drinks, I was already being bad getting my burger fully loaded. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! I would highly recommend them as well. I would definitely rate them a 9 out of 10 and the only reason they didn’t get the 10 is like I said, if the meat was seasoned it would’ve definitely set that burger clean off!
