My boyfriend called to order delivery today and was told that our address is on a "do not delivery" list. He was told is was due to the previous tenant at our address and that he would not take our order. I thought this was odd as I ordered a large taco pizza about a month ago and it was delivered without incident. I called and spoke to the same gentleman and he repeated what he told my boyfriend. I said this is odd as I ordered before from this address and he said the last person who took my order probably didn't look. He said he would talk the the manager tomorrow as they were not in at the time. I told him I would like to call and speak to him tomorrow and asked for his name. His response was "he will be in tomorrow." I then asked of I could have the managers name and he proceeded to tell me " I have a pizza to get out if the oven" and then hung up on me. I like to support small business rather than order from corporate chains and I feel the way I was treated by this employee was unwarranted. I was not in any rude to him and was only trying to ask for contact information to resolve the situation. Read moreLove the pizza but horrible customer service experience. Repeated issues with a particular employee entering my address wrong into their card system on delivery orders. Had it. happen with multiple cards. After verifying the issues were not with my cards but an error in how they were being entered, I attempted to call back on my most recent order. The gentleman who had taken my order (same as in previous instances) was extremely rude and said he was canceling my order and just wouldn’t place orders to us anymore, even though the mistake was on his end. I attempted to tell him I had just talked to my card company and they told me they were entering it incorrectly, but rather than listening, he threw a temper tantrum and just said he refused to take orders from us again and hung up on me. On a previous occasion with a different card, a different employee had it go through just fine when this same employee was saying the system was rejecting it for the address. It’s clearly a training issue, but he can’t change it if he refuses to even hear he’s making an error. He talked over me and refused to hear/believe it was any error on his part. Read moreSo as much as I love this place and their food, besides the pizza. I have to give them 2 stars from my experience tonight. I've lived here for a few years and ordered from them. Yes cell service is poor where I live. However the owner on the other end of the line could here me enough to take my order and address but when it came to payment he decided after I tried moving around that I would need to call back to place my order and repeat process....... also while ordering (I like the ribs but am on a diet that doesnt allow for the sides that come with) I asked for just a lettuce salad with some dressing. I was informed this would be an extra charge for a salad even though I didn't want the sides which actually cost more then a salad. Needless to say I called dominoes and spent less, yes I didnt get ribs but I'm not giving one of the biggest douche bags I've ever talked to on the phone a nickle.
I'd love to continue to purchase food from these guys as I love it but when the owner is that kind of tool box I just can't.
Good luck to those of you that do proceed with food orders as it's pretty solid for a delivery place but I hope you dont have to take to or deal with the owner...
