Stillwater Event Center — Attraction in Stillwater

My daughter was married there two weeks ago. I can’t say enough good things about Dan and his staff. The venue was gorgeous. We had the ceremony and the dinner/dance at the venue. Dan helped us set up the arch we wanted, the Marvel canvas backdrop and made sure everything was perfect. We discussed several layouts of the room prior to the wedding day and he was just so helpful. After the ceremony they turned the room over to a banquet hall in 15 minutes while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. Scheel’s Catering did our food. Beef tips with mushrooms and peppers. Chicken with Parmesan cheese sauce, potato bar, Salad bar, homemade dinner rolls, and 4 kids of moose shooters for desert. Ive never enjoyed wedding food but this was absolutely, hands down the best food I have eaten at a wedding and better than many restaurants. The Stillwater Trolley picked up our entire wedding party up and took us to several outdoor photo areas, what a special add on to round out all of the preparations before the guests arrived. My husband and I had our reception here two weeks ago and it couldn't have been any more amazing and stress free!! Dan was great to work with and really went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted!! The decorations, lights, set up, and service were all top notch!! We loved that renting out the hall came with pretty much everything and at a great price!! The staff was so nice and helpful with all of our needs and the bartender was great at making every drink we threw at him!! Also the food from Scheels catering was fantastic! What a great venue! We chose it for its parking, handicap accessibility, and allowance of outside caterers. The hall itself is intimate, but was large enough to accommodate our 188 guests. The ceiling drapery and lighting transformed the hall from what seemed like a meeting room into a beautiful banquet hall. The hall manager, Dan, was very helpful and responsive.
