My family and I been coming here at this location since the doors opened several years ago. We know times have changed over the last few years. From the moment my 2 boys and myself walked in today for lunch we were treated with rudeness/disrespect as the customers. They have been closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for a while so I asked about kids eat free if there was another day it's been moved to. I got a snobby response oh were gonna be opening back up on those days soon. Whatever I blew it off and paid just about $40 for my 2 boys and i. They seemed to be fairly busy for just opening for lunch and was several customers standing around the buffets with empty plates and really hardly any food out. Of course out of respect we had to wait a bit for more food to come out and when it did the waiting people pretty much cleaned out all the chicken, etc I then asked the same woman is there more food coming out soon and rudely was told it would be about 20 more minutes. There was no pizzas out as well. I grabbed what I could and my boys sat there at the table hungry. 30 minutes must have passed and still waiting for more food to come out. I then asked the same woman again could I get a refund for my youngest son as he not ate a bite of anything and was told very rudely I was not getting a refund Whether he ate or not. Finally some pizzas started coming out slowly little by little and after a long wait for the chicken we were able to finally eat a meal.i then asked the same woman if there was any cheese bread coming out and once again very rudely there would be some coming soon. Was at least another 15 minutes. There was other customers in our seating area that was catching on to what was going on here and even approached our table to discuss there own issues there lately. Our booth was dirty and crumbs on the seats, silverware and food under our table on the floor "I took pictures of it as well" all in all I'm not sure if we will ever come back and it was my kids favorite place to come to. We all have bad days but you don't take that out on long time customers. I am very disappointed in the way my family was treated at pizza ranch today. To be treated this way is Unacceptable to me.also they lost out on many customers at lunch time as several people were trying to come in but they lock the doors after being open about an hour or so ? What are you kidding me ? Unreal. I truly expect some type of response from the owners because if this keeps up they will go out...

My rating is mixed because most of the downsides were things that may have been exclusive to the day we attended, so I don't want to be too negative.

The floors were kinda gross with different foods stuck in the carpet in a few spots- but for all I know that could have just happened recently and there hadnt been time to clean it yet, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Also, most of the pizza was just alright, but I still give 4 stars for the food because that's kind of expected with buffet-style restaurants, and I did like the Hawaiian pizza. 5 stars for the service because the staff was working hard, people were cleaning tables, everyone was friendly, and they were pretty consistently bringing out another hot pizza once a specific kind was gone (my son and several others were making laps waiting for another pepperoni pizza to be brought out and it only took maybe 2 minutes- but I did see some guests taking 2 or more pieces as soon as one new pizza came out, so I understand the cooks have to quickly play catch up in situations like that)

The main reason I wanted to leave a review is because I would be interested in returning here IF I knew the "Children under 10 must have an adult with them at the buffet" rule was actually going to be enforced. (Don't get me wrong- I love kids, they can't help being messy and "germy", it's the adults not supervising them around everyone else's food that genuinely grossed me out)

There were signs very prominently posted requiring adults to be with children 10 and under when they are at the buffet areas, which I appreciated when I saw them, however I saw multiple children clearly younger than 10 going up alone, touching food with their hands, and one child was even coughing CONSTANTLY during our visit, including while they were getting food at the buffet.

I totally understand when staff is not allowed (or just too uncomfortable) to remind parents individually to follow this procedure, but the amount of adults not caring about this rule really grossed us out, and is the main reason I don't know if we'll go back. This is less a reflection of the business itself and more on the other patrons at the time, but I do wish the workers were allowed or comfortable enforcing that children can't be at the buffet alone (especially when...

We feel that the manager Julian is gone temporarily and the new assistant manager Daniel (Dan) is rude, arrogant, and inconsiderate to the customer needs. We ordered a pizza and there was issues with it. Assistant manager Daniel argued on the phone and quoted,” I made it and nothing with it “. So, for us when we call with issues, in which is very rare. The pizzas we ordered has very minimal to none in the pepperoni. So, we left issue go and chalk up like to see if gets better. Second time we ordered same pizzas. Daniel, whom same person delt before took our order. I waiting at the Oak Park Heights pizza ranch store for my pizzas. I witness a interaction with Daniel and lady customer about the chicken at the buffet. She comment how over-cooked and wondering if he going to put new chicken out. Daniel the assistant manager said, “ No, there still chicken on the buffet and there’s other food to select from. ( I have seen the chicken and the color was very deep dark brown, like it been cooked twice and black spots on the coating.) The lady look Daniel in surprise and left. I over heard her saying she’s not coming back as long Daniel is there and the food continues looks burnt. We received our pizza and we were excited to see proper amount of pepperoni on the pizzas. After first initial bite, it was very salty. We were disappointed again. I though back when Daniel personally handled the pizzas to me ( 2 workers standing there at the till) and and he said it, “ Enjoy your Pizzas “, but then his face turn beat red after hand the pizzas to me. We decided not called due fact how he treated that lady customer about the chicken. We threw away 2 large pizza that made us feel uncomfortably from taste and especially not trust this Daniel the...

10/5/2024: It would be really nice to be left alone while eating without employees constantly lurking around the table waiting to take dirty plates from us. It's a little excessive. 2/6/24 update: Went to have dinner. While it's nice for the staff to keep an eye on our table to clear any dishes, there were 2 employees constantly circling our table to the point that it was getting awkward to eat. This was around 4pm and was not busy. Every time I looked up, someone was RIGHT THERE. I put my fork down for a minute and someone comes up asking to take my plate. My plate was full. While it was nice to have table service, I did not enjoy being stared at and what it felt like, staff having dinner with me. ---- The pizza usually has no sauce and was bland despite the variety of toppings. The chicken probably would be the only reason I would go. Their chicken never disappoints! So juicy. I love their kids eat free Tuesdays.

Best to go when it’s busier for fresher food, however when buying a buffet if you’re willing to wait 10-20 minutes for a pizza they’ll make any pizza you request if it’s one they can make, including stuffed crust. Staff have always been polite and friendly. Food isn’t always the best, but can’t expect much out of a large name pizza place that isn’t small town local recipes. But, overall the food is good enough for me most days and the service is always good and I come back pretty regularly. I usually request at least one fresh pizza of my choice to be made as soon as I pay for my food so I can have something that’s fresh that I’ll eat.
