I was super excited about a healthy option in stillwater. Crisp and Green has always been one of my favorite go to's. My first three or so times here were wonderful. I was helped by a pretty middle aged blonde lady (wish I knew her name), who was absolutely phenomenal. She was so friendly, helpful and patient with me if I asked to substitute items, and I was happy with the serving size. She works there a lot and helped me with my first 3 or so visits. On to the bad visits. The first time, I was in line for 25 minutes or so, helped by someone who was not friendly at all, given a tiny serving size and the brown rice was not fully cooked (like some of it was nearly rock hard). I thought "ok, thats fine. I'll try again." The second time I ordered something else. It came with wild rice. The wild rice was SO undercooked that it was SHARP. . Along with the chicken, which was totally Raw on the inside. I spit it out and didn't eat any more of the chicken. Two days later, I had blood in my stool from the wild rice. Thats an embarrassing detail but must be said to warn others. Uncooked wild rice is actually dangerous. Two or three weeks later I decided to try again. This time I was helped by an extremely unfriendly staff, who acted like I was the greatest inconvenience. I watched her measure everything out and they were the tiniest scoops imaginable, LESS than a scoop for everything. The final product was a half full bowl. Which was totally opposite to the first 3 times I'd been there. I've also been to several other locations over the years and always been given a full bowl. For the price you're paying, and being starving after a work day, a half full bowl and grumpy people just don't cut it. I asked the woman if I could get a little extra rice because it was half full and she refused. Not in a nice way, not trying to be cordial in the least. Another employee backed her up when I said all the other times I've been here the bowl has been full. Again it was an extreme unpleasant, confrontational exchange, and I hate confrontation, they didn't attempt to be nice about it at all. On top of that, the chicken this time was so tough and chewy I didn't even eat it. So, with the unfriendly staff, undercooked food, and long wait times, I won't be back to this location. But I hope that one blonde lady who works there a lot gets a raise, because...
Read moreDistrict store Manager was not wearing gloves and cut up avocados and other food prep. She was wiping her hands on her clothing and dashing around the store. When confronted by myself with no gloves, she was defensive, aggressive and made excuses that she is washing hands and certified in food safety. She sarcastically asked if I wanted her to make the wrap over. Very unprofessional! Also, she had EXTREME loud music(rolled out a big speaker)playing and dancing and employees were unable to hear us/customers. This was beyond unprofessional.
Update: please stop making excuses to the “owners of c&g” for the service or therefore lack of and do something about it! I’m reading reviews since mine and it appears like you keep saying you want to learn more about it… well, what else do you need to know other than the truth told by customers? do some research on your own by talking to your employees (discipline?) and maybe look at the cameras. There’s potential here with the menu but without customer service and cleanliness, this...
Read moreHonestly, i hate salads. You buy them from the store? They are wet and half expired. Make it yourself? It takes half an hour to an hour and i can never come up with enough ingredients to make it taste like anything other than lawn clippings.
Crisp and green was suggested by a gym buddy and its my go to on the road place ever since. It tastes healthy without tasting like cough medicine, its the same price as McDonald's, and they have yet to serve me a single leave that doesnt have that crisp feel to it.
Every time i go there is a gal working there with a smile on her face (a real one, not the usual retail smile) and is always helpful in helping me pick a new flavor.
I dont stay there to eat because im on the go all the time, but their set up is easy enough that ive never seen a line there longer than 3 people. In and...
