I have some questions that hopefully the staff will answer about our visit...
Are gloves required? The sweetest looking older woman was not wearing any during our visit as we watched her handle macaroons. The woman checking us out did wear her gloves the whole time, including when she handled my card, while touching the iPad, and when she returned to work.
Do you use the exact same filling in your chocolate as your macaroons?
What style of macarons do you serve? This was the first time we had ones brick hard and we're just not familiar with it. I've heard this can be caused by freezing but usually a quality shop charging as much as you wouldn't do such a thing.
Why are all of your chocolates DARK chocolate? When purchasing pink or white chocolate we were expecting pink or white chocolate. It was very disappointing to find the strong dark chocolate in each peice.
Not a question, more of a feedback. The cap on your chocolate really should be as thin as the rest of the shell. Yours was twice as thick or more, contributing to the overpowering dark chocolate.
How long do you keep your red velvet cake cups? I've been used to moist red velvet cake and this tasted old or possibly once frozen? Even after letting this cup reach room temperature, the buttercream was chunky...
Read moreThe place and the chocolates are very pretty and all, but they are not worth it at all. Honestly, you can go ahead and buy yourself a Hersheyâs at a Publix for a dollar and itâll taste better than these overly expensive âpremium chocolates.â Pretty much everything is the same, bland dark chocolate taste. And no, Iâm not hating on dark chocolate, but to make you pay 18 dollars for 4 small pieces of the same thing just plain sucks. Which, by the way, wasnât even the price we were told weâd be paying. The cashier told us that it would be 13 dollars and then charged us 18 dollars, which we didnât even notice because we werenât given a physical receipt. Donât waste your time here.
Edit:
Owners even called me a liar! Very nice, not admitting your faults :) Iâm aware you sell different types of chocolate. What Iâm saying is that despite that promise, they all mostly taste the same. There is little to no variety. Also, of course itâs not the price. You charged me more! Maybe donât blame the customer for the bad experience your own negligence caused..? Have a nice...
Read morePretty in Pink!!! Ever since I tried the macrons that David Ramirez created, I have been spoiled. Delightfully surprised to find myself in a business plaza and find David Ramirez Chocolates. The outside screams for photo ops with pretty pink tables and chairs with umbrellas for shade.
Inside, to the left, pretty seating and more opportunity for pics. To the right, the glass display case with the delicious offerings. There are decadent chocolates of all shapes and flavorings. Beautiful and elaborate small cakes and tarts that look too pretty to eat but are delicious!! Then there are my macrons, so many flavors, pistachio, chocolate, chewy caramel, raspberry, honey vanilla bean and creme brulee, red velvet and so many more. These macrons melt in your mouth, and every flavor hits all the right spots of your taste buds. Oh, and they are now serving pastries & croissants, they were mostly sold out of those, but what I did see looked yummy!
The service and attention are amazing. This team, these sweets and treats, they are worth the...
