We ordered pick up of 4 different dishes. A calzone, baked ziti, baked manicotti, and chicken tikka masala. Every single dish was fresh and absolutely delicious and portions were large! The take out was packed very nicely with cutlery everything you would need. The amount of food we got for the price of $39.47 was outstanding. The dough for calzone was so delicious. The tomato sauce/marinara was to die for! Not too sweet, not too salty, just flavorful! The pasta dishes was something you would have thought your grandma made, rich with sauce and cheese and baked to perfection. We all were so amazed at our food, each of us insisted we try the others dish, it was that good! I personally went out on a limb with the Indian dish, chicken tikka masala. I have been to india several times and finding good indian food is very hard. It was simply amazing! Not overly hot with spices, only a slight kick, but extremely rich and flavorful. I was literally blown away! We moved here a little while ago from Atlanta and finding a resturant that is even mediocre is sooo difficult! This is above and beyond anything we have found around this area or back in rural Atlanta. The employees were so nice and personable. I was very skeptical, but now my family has found our new favorite! During this difficult time for our country alot of places are cutting corners on all aspects, they do not do that here. This amazing food was less expensive than a drive thru dinner for four and it was ten fold better than anything you could get through your car window. Believe me you cannot beat the value and QUALITY this resturant offers, it is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time customer. I called ahead and asked about some items on the menu on their website. Phone was answered immediately and the owner explained the menu items to me. I ordered their Meat Lover Pasta with a side of garlic bread. I also ordered a large Siciliaās Supreme Pizza. I was there twenty minutes later and met the owner. Heās a pleasant guy and does most of the cooking. Got home and tried the ML Pasta first and it was astonishingly good. Loaded with four or five kinds of āpizzaā meats and with a store-made Marinara Sauce, it was outstanding. The garlic bread was also fresh and perfectly toasted. I opened the pizza box and the aroma was uniquely appealing and the appearance was like no pizza I've seen in Oak Ridge. Again, there was an array of meats, cheeses and veggies, with a house-made sauce. I now have a new favorite pizza. The menu has dozens of other unique food items. It includes several āMediterraneanā dishes that sound like theyāll be a good future surprise. I suggest checking out their webpage menu and picking your pleasure and calling ahead. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Iām certainly not!
For Old Time Oak Ridgerās, Sicilia is located on the lower level of the Grove Center complex, across from the pool parking lot on Robertsville Road. In the 1950ās, the space was home to Redmanās Radio and TV Service. If you come down Providence Road by the high school, stop at the intersection of Robertsville Road and then go straight ahead, across Robertsville Road, and into the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk so I have been going to this restaurant for years and this is the third owners. Unfortunately they have changed the menu and the recipes. They are very nice and courteous and they are trying hard to make it successful. I applaud the new decor and the upgrade of the soda dispenser. I am sure that some of the changes to the menu were needed as it is too large for a place that size. My first trip I ordered what I had been getting most of the time I went, which was baked spaghetti. They cooked the breadsticks perfectly as I had requested them a little lighter than normal. Unfortunately the spaghetti was cooked Aldente so was not able to eat it all two hard especially around the edges where there is no sauce, the sauce to me had no flavor at all and was not like the old sauce that was a bit chunky and seasoned well. The second try was a pizza and while the dough was actually an improvement over the old style the type of Italian sausage left a lot to be desired (Marcoās is closer to Chicago and New York style and flavor) I asked for double the sauce but compared to other places I was disappointed. So while I think the new owners are trying hard and we donāt really have a lot of choices when it comes to Italian in our town I am sorry to say I will not...
