Oak Ridge Art Center — Attraction in Oak Ridge

My husband and I visited so I could get some information on classes they offer at the Center. Everyone we met and talked to was very nice and helpful. The building is divided into classrooms in one section, including a pottery/ceramic area. The rest of the building is a gallery of art of all mediums from artists of all skill levels. Everything is displayed professionally. The vibe here is very relaxed, but also energized by the director, staff, instructors and students. I am hoping to get enrolled in a class soon! We love the Art Center! My 16 year old is an accomplished artist and they are always so encouraging to her and all of the staff and volunteers are so kind and welcoming. Definitely make the Open Show this year if you are able. 😊
