Burger King — Restaurant in Oakland

I wanted a burger yesterday. 2/26/25 around 4:30. McDonald's was super busy. So when I passed by Oakland BK. There was maybe 1 car out front n nothing in the drive-thru. This should've been a warning sign to me! So I continued in the drive-thru, and I ordered a whopper meal. The guy seemed really friendly! He asked me what drink? I said medium coke light on the ice. He replied, " I gotcha man!" I then said," Could I get some ketchup for my fries? " Again, he replied, "I gotcha man!" I paid for it. He was probably in his 40s. He kept saying, "I gotcha man!" When I pulled over to eat my food. He was right! He got me, MAN!!! No ketchup, and my light on ice coke was filled to the top with ice! It was probably about 5 ounces of coke, maybe? I wasn't happy, but I thought, Oh well..... I should've checked before I pulled out. I could tell it wasn't fresh. But I was hungry and ate it anyway. About an hour or two later, I started feeling sick. Like six hours or so. I couldn't leave the bathroom!!! I didn't start feeling better until today. That whopper n fries was the only thing I had eaten yesterday. Food poison??? IDK? I kept thinking. Yeah, you really GOT ME MAN!!! I won't eat...

Make sure you watch whose making your food. I did a mobile order and they made both my sandwiches wrong. Turned around to go back to get it straight and as I was waiting up front I watched a person eating fries from the chute with his gloves on. Pulled his mask down in the back and started eating fries. Then went right back to grabbing food and making sandwiches like it was nothing. Told the manager and all she made him do was go wash his hands and put on new gloves. They tried to keep it quiet but I made sure I told the guests eating about it on the way out. As im pulling away the manager went to the customers table to probably cover up their mistake. Dont eat here if you like sanitary cause this aint it. Playing on their phones in the back and not cleaning...

The past 3 times I've been here everything has been fresh and the staff has been awesome! Way to go. STOP!!! WAS IN LAST WEEK! HORRIBLE SERVICE, WAS NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE FOOD! STARTED OUT IN DRIVETHRU AND HAD TO GO INSIDE WITH MY5 YR OLD AUTISTIC DAUGHTER, CAR FULL OF GROCERIES BECAUSE THEY GOT SMART WITH ME WHILE IN DRIVE THRU SO I WENT INSIDE(NOT HAPPY) A 2 MIN VISIT TURNED INTO 15. GOT TO KNOW THE CUSTOMERS!! THE MANAGER ON DUTY WAS LITERALLY YELLING/ DOWNGRADING THE STAFF!! NO WAY I WOULD WORK THERE STAFF LITERALLY LOOKED FRIGHTENED! NO WONDER THEY CANT KEEP GOOD HELP! GOING DOWNHILL!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL... FOOD WASNT...
