The menu I was looking at with no prices was laminated, one of 4 or 5 on a hook at the counter. Doesn't add up that menus were being printed due to it being busy.

I understand I'm in the minority here because almost all of the reviews for here are positive, but I cannot understand having menus without prices.

The bagel was more dense, dry, and without all that much seasoning on the outside versus what I'm used to, but I'm not getting bagels from NY regularly so that could be a style difference.

I understand the bathroom situation then, that it was unusual traffic. Those little foil wrappers for the bagels may be good. Also understand the toasting could have been asked for, just odd to me that it was that lightly toasted as the default.

-----------‐------------ There are no advertised prices, which I can understand on the overhead signs but the individual menus have no prices either. Got bagels and they were barely toasted, no color from toasting it at all. Paid $13 for 2 bagels, one with cream cheese and one with butter, and a black coffee. It was a to go order and the cream cheese or butter was not put on the bagel and it was put into a full meal size plastic to go container. Only 1 single bathroom which quickly got a line and doesn't feel like enough for the size...

I got a typical saus, egg, and cheese on croissant and it was awesome. The creme brulee latte was also so good, very sweet. Some other foods/drinks that my family enjoyed was the siracha egg bagel sandwich, acai bowl, BLT sandwich, chocolate muffin, and the spiced chai drink. Everything was amazing, and the service was great and helpful! I was happy to hear the shop is getting a second location in McHenry. My family had such a good time there that we look forward to visiting again next vacation in Deep Creak. Also, the location had parking. But we parked by the train museum and walked up so that we could also shop the streets. Overall, very cute...

I absolutely love getting to stop at Black Hawk when I’m in the Deep Creek area! Their coffee is always top-notch and delicious! While I have tried a variety of different drinks here, I always go back to the Black Hawk Mocha! It’s so delicious and if you need an extra treat, their pastry case has never disappointed! The drive-thru is super convenient, but I do enjoy when I have time to sit inside, as it’s so cute and inviting! The staff is always pleasant...
