JJ Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Oakland

They gave my order to some other person and gave me a hard time about seeing a name on my order. It was clearly on my email right at the top. They made a mistake by giving my order to some door dash driver claiming it was picked up already by a driver when I made my order directly on their website for self pick up. My order wasn’t even confirmed ready for pick up yet. I ordered directly on their website for a self pickup, not through a food delivery app. I had to wait even longer. They had another order waiting for pickup. And in the time I was waiting, it had not yet been picked up. That makes me believe they gave the door dash driver the wrong order. Sad to say, it was not a good first time experience. They only apologized after they finished preparing my order again and shared that the mixup happens on door dash all the time. If that was a known issue, then why give me a hard time about my order? I didn’t come home to another order sitting at my door. And after all that waiting, the food wasn’t even that great. Very disappointed yesterday evening, at this J&J I support often until yesterday. I place my order for a large catfish fillet waited 10min when I received the order and picked it up I felt strange my order was light as a feather for $15.00. It was four small pieces of fish and about 20 fries and they were cool, heatless from warm.

We understand they take a whole piece of fish and cut it in half but when they are cutting the half and sell the half of half you are robbing us the customer and that is unfair. If I wait 10 min the order should be hot it wasn't.

I was there on Friday. Friday is fish day for a lot of people. The restaurant had one cook and one guy taking orders and giving out orders. He was very rude and when I questioned him about my order he threw my food at me and i gave it back to him and said that you don't get to throw my food at me.
