5-Stars for the ice cream. 4-Stars overall just because the place is not brand new, but others actually like the nostalgia. I had strawberry & ube (taro) flavors. The proportion was the most I've been given anywhere, so they are definitely with you in your quest for happiness. Both flavors were creamy (the reason for the 5s; well, the proportion, too). The strawberry bits were more frozen than I prefer but does not keep me from thinking 5s. I appreciate that ice cream is not more sweet...

Not a lot of ice cream joints near dimond or laurel and this place is great. Only compliant is it was a little understaffed. That being said the one employee there handled everything with such grace, kindness, and great customer service I’m coming back. Tons of flavors that were all fun and delicious. We are so excited that Loard’s is back!! The new owners of this location did a beautiful job renovating the space and were so welcoming on their opening day. They have a ton of flavors, offer taste samples, and even have free sprinkles. Our whole family is thrilled to have this community gathering space open for business. I hope they feel the love from their neighbors...
