While everyone knows that I love Starbucks, it is hard to say this in a nice way, but this store needs [some serious] improvement. The staff is perfect, but they're not given the resources to truly shine, as they would, if the products were actually what they're supposed to be. I drink espresso, over ice, but mostly unadulterated, and I'm regretting to inform them that it just doesn't taste like it should, nor, has it tasted like it should, for YEARS now. I had to remove my 5 Star review from Maps not only because the espresso tastes like it could rehydrate you after a long workout; just not even close to what espresso should taste like - and the worst part is, they all know it! "The machine just got fixed" is what they say, but after remaking the espresso on all THREE bars, with no noticable improvement, something has to be said and something needs to be DONE! I know that I'm almost done. Maybe the Store Manager doesn't know, or doesn't care, or maybe the DM thinks it's fine the way it is; but as a former barista, twice now, I can tell you, it's not - and when I looked and asked for the card for the District Manager, not one could be found, though it's supposed to be located by the bar where you get your drinks. Read moreI don't frequent places like Starbucks often for the very reason my last visit went so poorly. Apparently I don't understand them and they don't understand me. My wife, son, and I were the only patrons in the establishment. I asked if they had a salted caramel mocha, the barista's response was yes. 5 minutes later I was given some frappachino full of shaved ice. I asked politely "what is this?" The barista responds "what do you mean?" So I tell her that I ordered a salted caramel mocha and at no point did I request iced or a frappachino, she informs me that they don't have that but this is close. I tell her that this isn't anywhere near close to a salted caramel mocha, its frozen for goodness sakes, so she says she'll fix it. 5 minutes later she hands me an iced coffee... "I don't mean to be rude, but do you have anything that's hot? I get my order (medium iced coffee and a croissant, roughly $10), get situated and they tell me that they’re closing at 6 for some company meeting… Nobody gave me a heads up before I placed my order cause if that was the case, I would’ve just went to another location. But they waited until I already paid and was situated to tell me that they’re closing. I told them that was a huge inconvenience because I already paid and was about to start on getting work done on my laptop. All I got was a bunch of fake sympathy from the employees (which isn’t worth a penny) and no offers to resolve anything.
