So I normally grab coupons out of the Sunday newspaper and place them on the coffee table. I'm currently in short term disability and off of work. My mother whom loves going to subways, I on the other hand prefer Togos because they weight their portions. She asked me if I wanted Subways since theres a coupon right here. She drove there and ordered the correct sandwiches on the coupon (Two footlongs for 11.99) the store employee told my mom that they never accepted coupons at their location. Very disappointed she came home telling me what happened. I read the fine print( at participating restaurants only) I understand Subways is a franchise and independently owned, but the fact that they dont take part in their brand name coupons shows you what type of owner runs that store. If you can go to a different subways down the street that accept coupons, then why would you ever come here anymore? From now on if anyone ask me if there is a subways in that area, I would say no. It's just a giant VOID. But there is another one somewhere else or go to Togos. My mom loves Subways over the competition but this will hopefully change her views. If you bought a Subways business, and every other subways business around you accepted coupons except for your store...what does it tell you about your customer value/ What does it tell you about how you run your business? The other reviews on yelp validate my post. One person mentions they dont offer any deals like on TV. Another reviewer says that they dont accept coupons. Attached are the receipt...

Read moreI LOVE SUBWAY!! I'd like to say that I visit this Subway pretty often, especially for the morning B-fast wrap. And I get very good service here every time. The sandwiches are always exactly as I expect them to be (yummy). But, one time I visited and brought a Subway coupon (which I received in my mailbox) and disappointed to say, the Sandwich maker wouldn't honor it IF I was requesting the "premium" sandwich. After politely insisting that the coupon stated "ANY" sandwich, she finally gave me what I requested. I offered to pay 50 cents extra for sandwich "upgrade" because I didn't want her to get in trouble with the owner or the business to be struggling. But, I felt the need to post my complaint about the "not honoring a coupon" on the Corporate site. To my surprise...the next day, I received a message on my phone from the Owner of this Subway, apologizing and stating that they will make it clear to all their employees to honor all the Subway coupons (not expired). He also thanked me for the feedback and being a loyal customer. Now that what I call great customer care! LOCAL BUSINESSES IN...
