Taqueria La Mejor — Restaurant in Oakland

I give this taqueria/restaurant a 5 star because the employees are friendly and nice. Also they got fresh meat with no fat in it. The tacos are ok but the quesadillas are real good tortas are great too. The seating well it's a small place maybe 3 tables to sit and eat. But if you want it go they can do that. Parking is tight. The place is off 580 high street exit location is good also. Yes I will come back to this place for quesadillas and tortas I love a clean place and clean good tasting carne...

The women who work there are more than friendly, provide excellent, fast, homemade food. The meat is magic as they have cooked it to perfection. I watch them roast peppers, chop garlic and put together real authentic delicious fresh food. Tiny little place that is better than any top notch restaurant. Best kept secret in any neighboorhood. Leave a large tip cause they under charge. Love this place. They will also let you order off the menu. This cute little place should have lines...

I got a carnitas super burrito with mixed beans and everything inside, $13 out tha door?! You fasho need cash here so hit the ATM before. There’s a gas station across the street so you could get cash there in a pinch.
