Went to Degrees Plato for the first time. Started with the chips, salsa and guacamole. Chicken quesadilla for him- it was yummy! Carnitas torta for me- super yummy and appreciated the side salad to balance out the meal. Would definitely order both again. Nice selection of beer on tap! We had the following: 1. Cellarmaker’s Alien Life Form 2. Fort George- 3 Way IPA 3. Moonlight’s Side of Rice All beer was yummy! Really appreciate the vast selection of cans to go and that you can buy single instead of packs. Friendly and chill staff. Really enjoyed the outdoor area in the back. Very family friendly. We look forward to returning to Degrees Plato!

Love this place, especially pleased to have something like this in the Laurel. Great beer selection. Awesome bottles to purchase and take with. While I haven't tasted the food yet, the menu does look exciting. It would be great if the bar benches had a foot rest. It gets very uncomfortable after about 10 minutes. It's a shame because sitting at the bar is fun. The bar staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. You just have to deal with aching buttocks to have a beer there. Love the communal tables. And it would be great if they had WiFi. That would be my afternoon office if that were the case.

Really was excited to eat here based on a recommendation however it was subpar. They were out of the soy chorizo options so we ordered the potato taquitos and the tres tacos chicken, guacamole & salsa and an aqua Fresca. The chips, guac & salsa as well as my drink didn’t come until I had to ask repeatedly for it after our food was delivered. They automatically add a 15% service fee which I understand but they need to provide better service if they’re going to automatically add that. Not super tasty food either. It was okay. The chips looked overcooked.

An amazing addition to the Laurel district. This is the best spot to hang out with your family, friends, dogs, kids, whoever! Easy parking, comfortable spaced out outdoor seating (most of it covered for inclement weather), and super dog/kid friendly. The tap room has the absolute best selection of local craft beer, with a to-go cans/bottles section that is unmatched if you're looking for rarities, unique brews, and local craft classics alike. Tap pours are quite reasonably priced, and there is always a wide variety from DIPAs to sours to Belgians. Tap wine and cider also available, and also good local craft stuff! The Mexican food is amazing here-- some of the best I've had since living in San Diego. Vegetarians will love their numerous options (soy chorizo torta and papas taquitos, you can't keep me away...) and meat eaters rave about it too.

No better place to kick it with friends and have a...

2 1/2 stars. Craft beer and Oaxaca inspired Mexican food! What’s not to like? Plenty, unfortunately: Terrible acoustics, music way too loud. Inadequate seating, the bar especially.

Others here have complained about the immovable benches. Southwest Airlines have better seating. If I try to squeeze in I bruise my knees. I’m 6’ 2” so OK, but neither can I touch the floor. No foot rail, so your feet just dangle. The benches are bolted to the floor, so you can’t move them out. For gods sake, rip them out and start over! Standing would be better. Had some good tacos Saturday night but Monday night, no. Only nachos on the menu. Horrible. P

Look either just serve beer or revamp the entire seating and acoustics, hire a full time chef and dishwasher and turn place into a real destination spot for the entire Bay Area....

Great beer, nice folks, and I have high hopes. Some less than good directed at the owners. Write descriptions for the beers. Far too much time was put into describing beers to each and every customer. Just write it down. They finally seemed to get that those taps just gotta flow. At one point the line was 12 long. Furniture needs to change some. They'll get that. BUT- at one point I looked across the room, some 20 feet away, and realized I could hear him talking. Noise abatement is NOT optional, this place is LOUD in an unpleasant way. But we enjoyed it for a new place with some rough edges. Very creative beer selection at reasonable prices. We had one food we liked and the other look d good too, also at reasonable prices. Good...
