A Vegan Gem in Oakland
Timeless Coffee in Oakland is a true gem for anyone who appreciates quality vegan food and drinks. Their hot chocolate is nothing short of incredible, and their house-roasted coffee consistently delivers an exceptional flavor that keeps me coming back. I’m always excited to try their specialty drinks, like the pistachio latte or the refreshing iced strawberry matcha, which are always crafted to perfection.
The atmosphere at Timeless is laid-back and inviting, with comfortable seating both inside and outside. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, whether you’re catching up with friends or simply enjoying a quiet moment on your own.
What truly sets Timeless apart is their staff. I visit weekly, and no matter how long I take to decide between their amazing options, they’re always patient, kind, and friendly. Their consistency in providing excellent service is something I deeply appreciate.
As a vegan, Timeless is a sanctuary. Knowing that everything on the menu is 100% vegan gives me complete peace of mind, allowing me to enjoy their offerings without hesitation. They’re constantly refreshing their menu with new specialty drinks and mouthwatering sweets. Their cherry cheesecake is my personal favorite—an absolute must-try!
Timeless Coffee isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a community space that nails the balance between a cool, relaxed vibe and seriously good food and drinks. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is definitely...
Read moreIt's my 1st time @Timeless Coffee. I didn't realize that everything was vegan. I mainly came because of the 4.5⭐️ & wanted to get their Tiramisu for my son to try at home since he likes Tiramisu with more cake/lady fingers instead of moose (based on pictures). The lady that help me did do everything I asked for but I didn't feel that friendly genuine welcoming vibe I usually get from some other coffee shops. I ordered coffee without realizing that they didn't offered regular creamers, raw sugar nor stirs. They only offered almond milk, oat milk, regular sugar, spoons, forks, knifes & cold drink straws. Coffee was kind of watered down to me & kept spilling out from the rim/lid closure while I was walking. Luckily, I had napkins in my purse to wrap around it to prevent it from getting all over me & leaving a trail. I walked to Starbucks@Kaiser to add some raw sugar, creamer & used their stirs & got more napkins. My sons & I were very disappointed with the Tiramisu cake as well. It didn't taste nor have the texture of a tiramisu. It had a carrot cake texture without the carrots w/some sweet thick heavy cream. Will not be coming back. Don't recommend if you...

I've lived in the area for 10 years now, and used to go frequently because i like the idea of having a local roasterie, but every time i go they look at and treat me like I don't belong. I think its because i dont dress like a hispster from SF in the mid 2000s? Or maybe it's because i wear board shorts and tank tops? One time i asked if there was a short line to just buy a bag of wholebean coffee, since the line was huge and slow simply from people wanting baked goods. The dude laughed at me in front of everyone and told me to wait in the back of the line. Mind you, i had exact cash in hand. So i did, but literally 5 minutes into that wait someone went to the front and got something "real quick" from him. Maybe they were friends? If you are going to enforce a rule, enforce it failry and don't hook up people you like... especially in front of someone you just scolded for asking the same thing. Im not a huge fan of what nestle has done in the world, but thank god blue bottle just opened up down the street. And it's too bad because i love their SO...
