We really enjoy China House - Oakmont, and their contactless delivery! The food always arrives fresh, hot and flavorful. So far, we've tried their Szechuan Chicken, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Beef Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, Beef Teriyaki, General Tso's Chicken, Dynasty Shrimp and Chicken Egg Rolls. The orders are a bit pricier than other places, however, the portions are generous enough that they've lasted two-three meals (and the flavor just gets better with the leftovers!) Additionally, the shrimp and meat dishes include large pieces of shrimp and meat (not skimpy). We had one delivery challenge --- the delivery person delivered the wrong dinner, and we didn't realize it until they'd left. However, when we called China House, they were attentive, and corrected the order immediately; to set us up for dinning success. Highly recommend and would select more "Stars" if available. China House is a top notch restaurant, and Chinese Food lovers will not be...

They called me liar, never said sorry, never offered to replace it hung up on me 5 x ... Now they are making go in to get my money back not 10 I tipped driver.. I'm on disability don't drive and can't afford to waste 4o and no dinner!!! The fact I was treated so bad when I called to them my food was burned ...they don't believe in customer service like Americans were told and taught to do. I was treated so poorly over something that I didn't do. I'm hungry and very disappointed that they are making so much money from America and yet so rude to us with no customer service or care... Made me leave the food outside and never returned my money... I would never order again!! They are voiliting so many food codes. Health department needs to check...
Read moreThe food was pretty good. The spot itself is laid back, hole in the wall type of place. A solid choice for dinner (and the Oakmont Bakery is right there for dessert, too). I went for a simple order and just tried their fried dumplings.
They were nothing special but not bad. The stuffing itself is pretty good. Pork, a lot of cabbage, a bit of other vegetables. Sort of bland on the inside, though. It pairs well with the dumpling sauce.
I didn't really like the dumpling casing, though. It was very hard and tasted somewhat stale. The balance of stuffing to casing was a tad bit off as well.
Otherwise, a solid spot. Nothing special but you have all the classic American-Chinese dishes offered here. Portions are okay, and prices are a bit higher...
