This place is awesome. Raymond is awesome. The food is awesome. Let me just lay this out. You can spend $15 per meal on garbage fast food, or get over 20 giant shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn, an egg, and a drink for the same price, AND IT'S DELICIOUS. I posted pictures of the menu. This is from July 2024. Look at the prices! If the food sucked, then who cares if the price is good, but that's not the case. The food is amazing, not just ok or pretty decent, I'm talking knock your socks off incredible. We ordered so much. Five of us (4 adults and 1 kid) ate there, and all of us were too full to finish even two thirds of our food, and tip and all, it was less than a hundred bucks. That's insane these days. I live 45 minutes away, and drive a giant diesel guzzling truck. It's still less expensive to drive all the way over here, and feed my entire family, then it is to eat seafood, that's half this good, on my side of town. I've been to seafood restaurants all over the country, at beaches all the way around the coast, in other countries. The food here is better than 98% of the seafood places I've eaten. How the heck is this a little place in the middle of nowhere in georgia? I know I went on a lot about the prices, but honestly, even if it was 50% more expensive, I'd still recommend this place over almost any other seafood in Georgia. I'm not going to leave Raymond out. Outstanding service! I like seriously spicy food. I told Raymond what seafoods I prefer, and he made great suggestions. I didn't tell Raymond until we were done paying and ready to leave that I was going to write a review, but the way he took care of us, you would have thought I was from the Michelin guide book, and he was trying to impress us. This place won me for life. I can't...
Read moreMy family and I had a take out order rather late on a Sunday evening. We tried a low-country boil and several things from the appetizer menu. Everyone was very polite and my order was taken without error. When I arrived, I decided that we would eat in the next time because the restaurant had been so well renovated and it was spotless. (I'm a little disappointed every time I go to a place where my feet stick to the floor as I'm led to a table.) The food was well-packed for travel and everyone enjoyed all of the items- especially the corn. We had asked for some to be spicy and some not, so we tried a variety of seasonings and found all to be excellent. To the reviewers that gave a new, non-chain restaurant one star, in today's climate because you weren't completely satisfied, I don't know what to think of you. This place deserves everyone's business. They are willing to please and exactly the kind of restaurant that should succeed. Also, their hours are excellent in this world of everything shutting down by 8 or 9 PM. ...
Read moreI normally don’t leave bad reviews, that being said this place was more than deserving of one. I decided to try it based on so many people saying it was the best seafood in the area (it’s definitely not) It’s clean in the restaurant which is awesome but that’s about where the positive ends. We all three got water. We took one sip and all decided to get bottled beverages or not drink at all. The water tastes like actual dirt (this is not an exaggeration) My boss ordered calamari, VERY salty and chewy. We all got the tilapia and shrimp plate. The shrimp were decent but the tilapia tasted EXTREMELY fishy like no amount of sauce could hide the bad taste. We will not be back and I hope that someone reading this review decides to listen and doesn’t eat here. Try Atlanta highway seafood instead. The food there and even Gainesville seafood market is...
