Sumo Hibachi and Wings (Oakwood) — Restaurant in Oakwood

The food here is pretty good, however the service is terrible. I walked in to place a to-go order, and instead of acknowledging me, the cashier is scrolling through Pinterest on her phone. She looks up at me after thirty seconds, and doesn’t say anything. I ask her if she is ready to take my order, she just nods. As I’m telling her the order, she continues to scroll on her phone. As I go to pay, she has the audacity to keep texting as opposed to finalizing the transaction and pay attention to the customer. I have been a loyal customer for the past 3 years. I have never had any trouble with my food been served to my satisfaction until today. The review I am giving today is for the unjustife act not for the $. ...I was asked by a crew member to request my wings to be wet on the description of my online orders so that I could waive the $.50 charge for the sauce per order. I tried this place for the first time today, and tried a BUNCH of stuff! We ordered:

chicken & steak hibachi with fried rice curly fries sweet potato fries chicken wings fried mushrooms mozzarella sticks

Everything was so good! The customer service is great AND you get your meal pretty fast! They are doing really well with social distancing and minimizing contact during these COVID times. They're super clean and I saw the workers sanitizing often.

I highly recommend trying this place out if you're looking for some really good wings and/or fried rice.
