This has always been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid I’ve been going here for years but after the experience I had I could not be more disappointed. First off I didn’t want to leave a negative review but after seeing the horrible response they sent my husband after he posted a negative review I felt I had to write one to correct all there flat out lies.The food was good but when it was time to pay a $20 gratuity was added to our bill. I’ve been going here for years and had just recently went the week before with my grandparents so I knew this was not something they did and was out of the ordinary especially for a party of 2. I confronted the waitress who then went and got another older lady with very short hair. She was very rude and unfriendly and told us that an added gratuity was added to every bill and had been since the pandemic. I explained to her that I knew that was not true because I have been so many times since the pandemic and not once ever did I have an added gratuity. She continued to argue and lie but eventually took it off our bill but told us the next time we would have to pay it. At this point we were extremely upset. Like I stated before me and my family have been coming here for years so after telling my dad what happened he went a few hours later and ate there for dinner to see if they would add a gratuity and no absolutely no gratuity was added to his bill. Me and my husband are in our early 20s so I think they saw too young people and thought they could pull one over on us. Also I would like to state multiple credit cards was ever used we payed in cash. And the receipt they have linked is after they took off the $20 gratuity and re-printed the receipt. I’m honestly just shocked a business would stoop so low as to lie just to cover up there own crooked wrong doing. Avoid This Restaurant at All Costs

If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. I ate here earlier today, and it was such a bad experience that I will never return.

When the person came to take our order, he appeared to be under the influence of something—his behavior was erratic, and he seemed completely strung out. It was very concerning. Another staff member, who brought our drinks, spent the entire time sitting and playing on his phone, ignoring customers. There were only a few other diners in the restaurant, and now I understand why.

The food prices have increased, but the quality has sharply declined. My sesame chicken was mostly just breading with hardly any chicken inside. I was charged $2.50 for fried rice, which is normally included with lunch, along with soup. Apparently, neither is included with dinner, which felt inconsistent and misleading.

We didn’t receive a single refill, and I had to request a to-go drink just to get something more. When I went to pay, I left no tip because the service simply did not earn one—tips are earned, not mandatory.

Then came the most shocking part: a rude woman with short hair actually confronted me and asked if I had left a tip. When I said I hadn't, she told me that I must tip. I explained that tipping is optional and based on service quality. She then told me not to dine in again, only to order takeout so no one would have to serve us. I was stunned.

I left in total disbelief. With service and food like this, I don’t see how they’ll stay in business. I plan to share this experience with everyone I know....

4-28-24 Food & service was good but the atmosphere was not because all of the employees were yelling in Chinese to each other. Not very professional.

3-30-2024 Placed an order to go as I usually do but this time I was very disappointed. I ordered a Pu Pu platter and ribs. On the Pu Pu platter you get two of all their appetizers. Well the beef on a stick was horrible. I couldn't get my teeth into them it was so tough and they cheated on the amount they usually give you. The rest if the platter was of very poor quality. I paid $64 for this and got ripped off. They've always been the GoTo place for quality and flavor but I guess in their popularity they've gone down hill. It's a shame. I won't go back here.

Wait person didn't understand our order. I ordered the Pu Pu Platter as an appetizer but just as we started to eat it the dinner order arrived and I had to tell them we weren't ready. After the appetizer I ordered Shan San soup for two for me and she ordered Happy Valley. So they brought out the soup with two bowls instead of one. This was my order but my guest didn't get her Happy Valley until twenty minutes later. All the wait person could say was yes yes yes. Very poor service. The food however made up for the bad service. Everything was delicious.

Service was okay except I ordered my food which arrived 15 minutes before my guest got their food.
