Read more1st visit: Fabulous, great atmosphere with jazz playing in the background. An Americano made the right way! Service was friendly and met expectations. 2nd visit: Pretty good, had a scoop of ice cream that was served in a nice bowl and right portion size. Service was at par with the fist visit. 3rd visit and most likely last visit: Donât change your background music to sale a âHolidayâ that is 6 months away, at most change your music to Christmas Jazz tunes, not Christmas classicsâŠboring. The worst part: it took 30 minutes to get the scoop of ice cream to the table and the serving size was half the size received on the 2nd visit, it was served by the owner whom did not seem to have much of a personality. Not to mention, the order was not as requested. The setup is of no resemblance of a European style cafe and should not be claimed as part of âtheir storyâ. Kudos for making your dream come true, it would benefit from a makeover sooner than later. It could have been a true cafe, one of those good olâ hometown places to go to all the time. But unfortunately , one very bad experience put a halt to that for me and my husband. Good Luck and all...
Read moreThe atmosphere was cute; however, Iâm super disappointed with my first trip into this cafĂ©. I ordered a cappuccino and got a latte. I talked to the barista to try to explain my disappointment with the drink that she handed me and explained that a cappuccino any where Iâve ever ordered one is basically equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and foam. The barista didnât attempt to fix it she only told me how âtheyâ do it which is a centimeter of foam on top of a cup full of cream. Iâm totally disappointed with the service and the drink. If I wanted 12 ounces of milk/cream I would have ordered a latte. Glad I didnât order a large. Super bummed because I really love to support local businesses and after this experience I wonât be back. I shouldâve asked for a refund instead of walking out with this drink. Maybe I can fix it when I get home with my milk frother from Nespresso. Super bummer. If their cappuccino isnât really a cappuccino, then they should call it something else because a cappuccino should be a cappuccino no matter where...
