I recently visited Miller’s on an NFL game day around 1 PM. As expected, the place was packed—great food, solid service, and all the games on. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and overall, the service was excellent. However, I did run into an issue that I hope management will consider addressing. I came specifically to watch a particular NFL game, only to find it playing on a TV tucked away in a corner, visible only if I craned my neck from my seat. I asked my server if it could be changed to a more visible screen, and they kindly said they’d check with the manager. Later, I spoke with Ted, the manager, who was professional and courteous throughout. Unfortunately, he had to inform me that the store policy doesn’t allow changing TV channels after the seating chart is set. I pointed out that no one was watching the TV I requested to be changed, and even another nearby guest agreed with me. Still, Ted explained that the policy is in place to avoid having to make changes for everyone once guests are seated. While I understand the logic behind the policy, I respectfully disagree with how rigidly it was applied. In a packed bar where seating options are limited, and no one is watching a particular TV, it seems reasonable to make an exception—especially when it would significantly improve a guest’s experience without inconveniencing others. Ted acknowledged my points and was clearly in a tough spot, bound by policy. I want to emphasize that he handled the situation with professionalism and grace. My issue is not with him, but with a policy that limits his ability to make judgment calls that could enhance the customer experience. To Miller’s: your food and service are better than many competitors (yes, even better than Chili’s), but please consider empowering your managers to make sensible exceptions on game day. It nearly turned a fun afternoon with friends into a frustrating one. Thankfully, someone—an anonymous hero—changed the channel a few minutes later, and the day was saved. I don’t know if they were bending the rules, but I appreciated it. I’ll definitely give Miller’s another shot, but next time, I’ll probably come solo if I’m planning to watch a specific game. I’d hate to invite friends and risk not being able to enjoy the game we came for. That would be embarrassing. To be clear: if someone else is already watching a game, I completely understand not changing the channel. But when no one is watching, a little flexibility can...
Read moreSo this is our second time at miller's ale house, and the first time it was great. Great, service, delicious food. We walked in today, and we sat at the bar, and we figured that the drinks would be coming a lot quicker since we were at the bar. The bartenders were so overworked that I saw them several times look over our way and see that our drinks were gone. Meanwhile, there was a guy standing around by the name of Devin busy watching the game and it appeared like he was flirting with one of the bartenders Rhi but couldn't be bothered to ask the patrons if they needed another drink. I understand that it was a busy day, but jeez. You need more than 2 bartenders, especially when you're being ignored while they're standing in front of you making the drinks for everyone else in the restaurant. I really think you guys need more help at the bar. I don't have a problem with the food. It has been great so far. Whoever you have in the back, making the food is a genius. There aren't too many restaurants in Ocala, and I think we've been to all of them, and I was hoping that Miller's ale house could be our second home. I hope you guys can fix this issue because the girls are really nice, but you can tell they were overworked and it was a Wednesday not like it was a weekend. Ok so we keep coming back because the food is fabulous. Today, 11/15 got served by Briana, what a great personable server. We had been here a week prior and sat at the bar, the out door one, and the servers there were fantastic. The bartenders were Jordan and Aurelisa very attentive and...

I had a fantastic experience at Miller’s Ale House! The atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming. Carly, the manager, was incredibly friendly and made sure we would enjoy our experience. She really sets the tone for great service and runs the place like a pro.
Our bartender, Ashley, was amazing, super attentive, personable, and made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. She kept everything moving smoothly even when the bar was packed, and somehow remembered everyone’s orders without missing a beat.
A special shoutout to Coach Ryan, who brings so much energy and positivity to the place! You can tell he truly cares about both the staff and the guests. His friendly attitude and great conversation made our night even better.
The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious (the zingers were perfect as always), and the service was top-notch from start to finish. You can really tell this team enjoys what they do.
