J Hibachi — Restaurant in Ocean Springs

New to the area looking for decent hibachi the rice had a funny taste almost like a burnt taste but it wasn’t burnt maybe the grill was ? Also the meal description states hibachi vegetables I got broccoli carrots and pineapple… where do pineapples come in at I expected zucchini so I was a bit disappointed there. Meat was okay sauce that came on meat and vegetables was pretty tasty. Overall the price and portions are okay but I think this is more of a knock off version of hibachi then anything I also asked for extra yum yum and she didn’t ring it up and wouldn’t allow us to use our debit card to ring it up and we didn’t have enough change so that alone just doesn’t sit right with me like at that point either let me swipe my card for 2$ or give me 2 for free. I'm from out town and was looking for some quick take out and found this place. I highly recommend! It's not very often I find a take out Asian place that isn't greasy. The food is fantastic! I love to eat leftovers for days and the food held up great. Unfortunately, their air conditioning was out and the poor cashier was sweating like crazy. I felt terrible for her. I rated a 3 on atmosphere bc there were boxes stacked everywhere and some of the furniture looked like it had seen better days. Don't let that...

Love this convenient hibachi place! Since they have both dine in and take out it's a flexible option for either one. They have delicious sushi and tempura! Always friendly service and very accommodating. It's not a big place but is enjoyable. And since it's in the plaza it's easy to just get a quick bite to eat and do some shopping before or after. Makes for a great location. Highly recommend this as a special shopping...
