EDIT FEB 2024 upgraded from three stars to five. We have been ordering drinks from this particular Sonic for the entire last year without any problems. Yesterday we opted to try ordering food again. We ordered the limited barbecue pulled pork sandwich, which turned out to be incredibly good. We ordered mozzarella sticks, which were nice and fresh. We ordered cheese fries, which were very good. We ordered a pretzel, it was a little overdone, but still enjoyed.
The very ironic thing about this particular order is the only thing that was wrong was one of the drinks. And it is the same drink that I order every week. It is a extra cherry slushie. I like it with a double amount of the cherry syrup. This time I got the regular amount of cherry syrup, and had to be half a jar of maraschino cherries. They get an a for effort, simply because they tried to abide by the extra cherry, and I'm going to give him a pass this time on getting the type of cherry wrong.
It definitely looks like they're moving in the right direction at this location. I hope they keep up the good work
EDIT Feb 2023: Upgraded from one star to three. I don't know if they are still short handed, but the wait was still 25 minutes. However, they did deliver the order complete, including extra napkins for the kiddos. (Which was nice, especially since this trip was an "reward" for one of the kiddos - he wanted corndogs.)
ORIGINAL: I understand that everyone's short handed, so the 25 minute wait from the time we pressed the button to the time they took our order was okay. The order was delivered to our car at 12.11, short three items. It's now 12.35 and I'm sitting in a car with two kids with half meals. We've now pushed the button two more times and we're still waiting. The worst part is the kids wanted McDonald's and since they only get fast food once in a great while, I agreed but saw Sonic and wanted a slush. Sometimes it gets hard to always keep a smile on your face and never get tips what you deserve. But we will not beg But most the time even through the hard days we are usually very nice, efficient, helpful, patient. Most of the people that work here have kids it's not just a bunch of teenagers running around so we work hard I'm not saying we deserve more than some people but we have a job and we try very hard at it. Read moreI’m the past 3 months we have given this Sonic 3 tries and will no longer be a customer there. The first time we we hit the button but nobody ever answered so we went to a different spot, still no answer. Ended up leaving because the drive through was too long. Second time I went and the exact same thing happened so I ended up having to go through the drive through only to have the drinks messed up after getting them. Third time, tried ordering online…husband checked in at 8:40 and had to bring to their attention at 9:10 that he hasn’t received his order. Their response was they knew he checked in but didn’t know where his location was so they left the food sitting there instead of calling him. Food wasn’t remade, was given soggy cold food and no apology was made. He was handed the old order along with 3 tokens for a free medium limeade followed by the worker walking off. And to top it off they didn’t close the kids all the way on the drinks and one spilled all over the car. No sorry, no refund…just three tokens for a free drink. No thanks….never again.
