Eastern Empire — Restaurant in Ocean Township

I always order from Eastern Empire for delivery when at work when I crave Chinese food. It's the ONLY Chinese restaurant I trust with fresh delicious food and no salty, greasy, sloppy food. All dishes are classic tasting and not overly ANYTHING. It's JUST RIGHT. Kind of hard to find that in my own experience. My absolute favorite is the steamed chicken with broccoli with extra chicken, garlic sauce on the side for a little kick and your choice of plain white or brown rice and their wonton dumplings are the best tasting I have ever had. Order an egg drop dumpling soup and you'll remember this post, trust me. Or you can order a lunch special with pork fried fried rice but that's on your own personal preference. This place is Soo good and super affordable the food always arrive hot they have lots of dishes to try. They have a Thai menu selection along side the Chinese menu .If you ever looking for something new try their noodle /soup bar with mei fun noodles it's like a full meal by itself and their chow fun is worth a try. My personal favorite is their dumplings their pan fried pork dumplings and dim sum are to die for. The beef in the dishes are so tender and perfectly cooked they're moo shu pork just like all of their dishes comes packed. Eastern Empire is excellent. With the pandemic going on they put in great measures to make sure both customers and staff stay safe and healthy. For example, only one customer is allowed in at a time and there are partitions put up so-as there is no unnecessary person-to-person contact. There is also plenty of hand sanitizer stations setup, and gloves for customers who want to grab utensils, sauces, etc.

Because of the state’s guidelines there is no dining in, but pick-up and delivery options are still very much available. Pickup time is rarely longer than 10-15 minutes, and delivery 30-40 minutes.
